Would it be possible to buy the jig for the router from you. I feel like it would be easier to buy it from you instead of making it myself. I'm learning this step by step by myself

@@yellowhammerwoodcrafts specifically what kind of finish this Ultra White Satin paint? Is it “paint and primer” exterior paint or “enamel paint”? Also did you have to have to sand everything prior to painting?
@@allanvilla1870it’s Behr Ultra White with the red label from Home Depot. Glossy. If you use sanded plywood, not much sanding is required. I usually go over it with 220
Each light comes with a black box. Your first black box will have the wires from the extension cord coming into it. (You cut the female end to expose the black white and ground) wire those into the light wires and you will also have the wires you need to go from that box to the next. The next box will have the light wires and your jumper wires from the first box. And so on.

In the build plans you say to use brad nails to secure the plexiglass between the wood trim. Is the really how you did it? Wouldn't it crack the plexi? Also, I see you screw together the plywood and the trim for the other walls... Please help

That’s a link for Home Depot. I don’t think that is a company in the UK. But the lights are called Ultra Slim Integrated LED 4 in Round Adj Color Temp Canless Recessed Light for Kitchen Bath Living rooms, White 4-Pack. Anything similar will work.
@@yellowhammerwoodcrafts so you inspired me! I am creating one. I have placed the bed brackets in the back wall and beam. Once it was put in place with the beam for the side wall, its a little loose. I'd like to get your insights on it.
Sandwiched between the two sides of the boarder with adhesive. Drill through backside and through plexiglass but not all the way through front boarder then use screws to tighten it all together around the boarder.

@@anthonymanns5867 not if you use a 6’ piece. I couldn’t get one around here but they are available in some places. The line is barely noticeable and the pictures I’ve seen, I can’t see it.
You need something to hold it flat when you put the trim around it. If it’s sagging in the middle when you put the other side of trim on it’s going to stay sagging
I bought your plans and your material list and cut list don't line up. The material list calls for 14 - 1x4 and 4 - 2x4. The cut list calls for 19 - 1x4 and 5 - 2x4. More if you are cutting to a true 48" since cutting an 8 foot board in half leaves you with less than 48".
No board that I have ever bought has been a true 8' It is always a little extra. Atleast a 1/4". As far as the cut list not being correct, you may have one of the first versions of the plans. Those numbers aren’t lumens, that’s color temperature. Just a small detail there.

Just regular behr paint from Home Depot. Ultra white satin. Screws are deck or construction screws 1 1/4” long

Same as the plywood. It’s sandwiched between the trim boards on both sides. Then screwed all the way through.

Each light comes with a black box. Your first black box will have the wires from the extension cord coming into it. (You cut the female end to expose the black white and ground) wire those into the light wires and you will also have the wires you need to go from that box to the next. The next box will have the light wires and your jumper wires from the first box. And so on.

@@robintyson4219it’s 6’ by 4’. 1 1/2” screws for the front frame and you can use screws or nails for building the frame of the top piece.

No. Brad nails will not go through plexiglass. Pre dill and screws

Where can you buy the 6x8 ft plexiglass?
I used two 4x8 sheets and cut a foot off both. I couldn’t find any local 6’ wide but there are places that had it. Was just too far away for me.

how are all 4 junction boxes connected? i can only connect 1 to 2, how do i get 2 to 3 and 3 to 4?
14 gauge romex wire. Take the blacks, whites and grounds out of the yellow jacket and use them to connect one box to the other
