Joker: Folie a Deux is the perfect example of sometimes there's very few ways to improve something by continuing it and very many ways to make it worse.
@@sarahwilliamson8646 Well, the main thing is that these movies have nothing to do with the Joker. The first one was a movie about mental health and violence. They could have called it something else. But I guess they thought people would not go to the theaters. So..., they just lied. They disguised it as a Joker movie. A little bit of make-up here, a sign that says "Gotham" there, some dude that is supposed to be Thomas Wayne to add some flavor and Voilá...! The recipe for success. But people just did not respond as expected. They did not care about Arthur Fleck and his situation that much... And why should they? They were sold something else... Something they liked and really wanted... So, the point of the sequel was to drive the point further, focusing on Arthur, that no one gave a rat´s ass about, and sidelining the Joker. They wanted people to "get it right this time". Not only that did not happen, but people finally realized that this is not the Joker and it never was.

Joker should have been how he built his criminal empire.
Ngl the fights leading up to jake paul vs mike tyson were top tier
I didn't have to go see Joker sequel to be disappointed, just learning they changed the story line of Harley Quinn, from therapist to pick me girl made me not want to watch
Top 10 disappointing moments of 2024 so far you mean.... You give humanity too much credit
Forgot that the Willy’s chocolate factory happened
The Acolyte getting axed was not the disappointment. That was the relief part.
Although I did really enjoy The Drinker's takes on this one.
The 1st joker was trash. Ignorant people that thought it was a good movie are 2 blame for the 2nd
😂Todd Phillips deciding WHY people liked the Joker and doing the "fans are bad" braindead script is what sunk Joker 2, he should never get work again. Like Rachel Zegler being a PR nightmare lol
Actually this was a weak year for anime, there was nothing interesting to watch. Meanwhile last year we had the likes of Frieren, Oshi no Ko, Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga and Jujutsu Kaisen
2024 year of disappointment - 2025 year of chaos
Paul paid Tyson to lose...
Any proff?
@@mattiasolsson1523many people were sure Mike would easily destroy Jake Paul before the fight. So it has to be staged because thats easier than accept that you were wrong 😂

Are you making fun of me? How cruel
The one thing I will never feel bad for, are the people who watched the scam fight that was Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson
I'm suprised number 1 wasn't WatchMojo not shutting down
(Personally)
It seems
All these disappointing events
Have something common
Too Focus on saving and making quick $$$$$ =/
Dude 2024 ain’t over yet
I kind of enjoyed The Acolyte, but once you've seen Manny Jacinto in The Good Place, it's hard to take him seriously as an aspiring Sith lord.
How about Kevin Costner’s epic movie project, Horizon - An American Saga, where it failed so badly at the box office that Chapter 2 has still not been released.
I love that you guys used AngryJoe's PS5 Pro reaction!! His rants never fail to amuse.
While Rooster Teeth being shut down would be considered a victorious moment of 2024, I presume
“Doesn’t cover war & politics” then what’s the point!
The point is to focus on the entertainment sector, not on the political bullshit you wanna talk about.
I know it's more sad than disappointing, but I think the death of Rachael Lillis should've been a dishonorable mention.
Didn’t even know Katy Perry made a come back. lol
I think Katy Perry's career can be saved if she breaks all ties with Dr. Luke. She needs to start working with Max Martin or even Timbaland.
I agree. Those two are the real deal.
Kind of scary if you think about it, the guy who literally traumatized Kesha no less and of all people Katy Perry works with HIM?? Not only that but leaving American Idol show no less possibly didn’t help her either too. But also people assumed the song was CLEARLY sexist no less too. Especially if your singing about women empowerment and your literally working with a man who traumatized another well known artist as well. Katy Perry hopefully bounce back from this disastrous 2024 indeed.
If it covered war and politics then the most disappointing thing is that people still think supporting Palestine and hamas is a righteous cause and its beyond disappointing that the Israeli hostages arent home yet
For entertainment, it's the Eurovision Grand Final. Never have I seen so much enmity and such a bad vibe in the final.
Joker was so bad I think it was intentional cause Phillips doesn’t like sequels.
I haven't been so desperate for a movie to finish as when seeing Joker
2024 Is The Worst Year To Be A Minor
Do a best moments of 2024
Trump destroying the woke bullshit should take top spot
But Trump also hates Europe for no fucking reason, so I wouldn't call that a best moment.
