Overall the install of the frame sliders is super simple and anybody can do it with some basic hand tools.
All the previous MT-07 model frame sliders will fit the new 2021model. The install is in the same spot as the older models

this bike looks agly, no matter what you do. And i ride old one, even that one isnt pretty, but yamaha ruined job with new models.
@@Jedanzivottattoo Totally get it, but personally I like the look! This bike definitely looks better in person, but it's a good thing that we all look different, wouldn't be any fun if we all looked the same 😂

@@XxwashimichuxX yes. So far they are holding very well. Plus they add a beautiful look to the bike
I have the exact same pair for my 2016 MT07. Had it for more than 4 years. It works, it stays put and protected my MT on garage mishaps, and is cheap. Just a suggestion, have a jack or some kind of stand under the engine and pry it up just a smidge or just let it touch the oil pan. Less stress on the bolts, the frame and is safer.
i'm waiting on my blue 2022 MT-07 right now.....after watching this video i will also add this mod to my list.....thanks....

I have these on my MT07 can't beat the price
Its 75nm of torque, equal to 55ft lbs.
Sweet bike. I really want a MT07 someday, but for now I'm just riding my little cb300f. I also left some frozen burrito out to thaw, but I changed my mind since I had a big bowl of seafood gumbo. I'm so freaking full that I just might as well forget about warming up those burritos. I want to try them with salsa that I bought. I'm just so full, and really sleepy. I'm not going to stay up like last night. I just didn't know when to wake up plus tomorrow I got to wake up for work. I'm not going to be making much through this week so I don't really care since it's almost the end of this year.

Where did you get your “intake” hole on your tank, they come with a grey “mesh” cover
Those sliders might save radiator and fuel tank on a drop but definitely won't save the engine, I advise you to get some engine guards/sliders too

Are these frame sliders used for the engine an exhaust areas as well? I have this model.
@@brovayurbee6102 No it's mainly for the side panels. But you can get engine guards though

I would say that this will save engine but not radiator or fuel tank :}
aren't those too short? im mean..if the bike goes down for some reason the indicators are gone because they are longer than the sliders

Yes! They bolt up exactly the same as previous years

Will a crash cage from previous years work the same on this bike?
I'm not sure to be honest. However a lot of parts from previous years fit the new one
