I totally agree! V/M are my absolute favorite team and were robbed this year! Samuelson and Bates are also one of my favorites, and were robbed as well!
Not only were Virtue and Moir not better than this team, they weren't better than the Davis and White. The Russians AND the Canadians were the beneficiaries of gifts not the Americans who were unfairly held down here.
I absolutely loathed Navka/Kostomorov's Tosca FD, especially compared to the dances from Delobel/Schoenfelder and Denkova/Stavisky, but man did this FD made me appreciate what Navka/Kostomorov did to Tosca's music.
I've always been a fan of B/A (no one cheered louder for them in Torino) but I have to say that this program was scored on rep rather than content. The speed and passion that used to define this team just wasn't there. Sure, most of that is due to Ben's injury but the judges should not have scored them based on an *idea* of what the program could be, especially not when other teams actually delivered on the ice that night.
Yes, I thought Tess and Moirs program was much more interesting, original and just amazing to watch compared to everyone else, yet they got 3rd. Maybe the judges are looking for something that we're not?
I think its so easy to get caught up with Tanith and looking more at Ben..he's skating's amazing..
@Russie77 Yeah, this was terrible. They should have been far behind the other 3 teams in the FD and 4th overall.

I wonder who had chosen this music for them... I can't see any of their own spirit in it. No way they could beat D/S like this.

Straight line was so slow.

4:25 is FUNNY. They are great but the score is TOO high
Navka Kostomarov performance was much more intensive. This coreography is neither inovative nor interesting. I miss Navka Kostomarov fluidity.
i feel like their speed and flow has improved.
horrendous music editing
