Chef....I recently visited PLAKA and KSHIR & CANELE. The taste and flavours were awesome. Specially Kshir and Canele is superbly fantastic. Very well curated and justifiably priced. The best thing is the satisfaction and prices.
Nice Chef ! My mother used an additional item called Marathi Moggu in the initial spice making.. Also I met another caterer who had an innovative method .. he first made Sambhar like liquid with bb masala and then cooks rice in that ! That way all the masala go into the rice and consistency was controlled .
Sir , im from Bengaluru and hv bn eating ths dish frm childhood cooked by my mom ,aunts n grannies, but Ajay ji i nvr saw them cooking rice n daal together evr , 1st daal and veggies are cooked separately & sambar is prprd with tht spl BBB powder, in ths sambar soaked rice is cooked with constant stirring, then a nice tempering is given as finishing, the art of making ths dish perfectly is how u cook rice in required consistency, sorry but the method whch u hv prprd wll definitely giv different taste n texture, not the traditional authentic one ... U can verify if u feel im telling wrong 😊🙏
Chopra ji please do not try Bisi bele bath what you are trying do is incorrect and it is not a south Indian dish. It is a dish from karnataka and the right place is Mysore/mysuru. You can say bisi bele bath of your version and not of south indian. Sorry, if this has hurt.
With all due respect I have seen at least 5 versions of this dish from my friends whose moms have fed me these . They are from Karnataka . Some boil dal separately with veggies some boil dal rice together and then give a tempering . What’s more important here is the flavour . And the texture . Very humbly I would like to say that this BBB masala is very close to many packet BBB spices . So I am happy to learn your version as well . Please post your recipe here so that our other viewers can also benefit
@@ChefAjayChopraji, as far as I understood, your recipe is more of a “sambar rice” than Bisi Bele Bhaath. Major difference is no onions in Bisi Bele, and also masala is very different. Very traditional Bisi Bele B. doesn’t even have all these veggies….
