- Aah yes, that ever elusive work/life balance.
As a young professional hell ben t on soaring to the top of their field, we are expected to give our all to our chosen vocations, and then on the other hand we cannot burn ourselves out so we need to take time out for ourselves during even the busiest days. And on top of that maintain a social life and make time for friends and family. It can get overwhelming and leave us feeling like we are always being pulled in a million different directions, and falling short in every aspect. I try to make it a point to get some social activity in, because what really is the point of working this hard and making all our money if we never get to enjoy any of it?
