There is one fact you did not mention: Sub-Zero and Smoke were friends that escaped together to prevent being turned into cyber-ninjas. Smoke was finally captured and sent after Sub-zero who eventually became one too.
Smoke never managed to capture and transform Sub-Zero in a cyber though.
Not true. You mistook it for a different timeline where Raiden saved Smoke from being captured, but Kuai Liang was captured instead and turned into a cyborg. He managed to quickly regain his free will. And later his human form was restored, not without Smoke's help.
In the timeline you're talking about, Smoke was sent after him to kill, but Kuai Liang helped Smoke to realise that he still had a human soul and take control of his body. They fought Cyrax and Sektor together.
It's really sad that people spread misinformation and others just mindlessly upvote it.
The cool thing is that while Smoke didn't have his own moves, but Scorpion's, the moves they gave him were similar enough for Cyber Smoke. Both had a spear, but the teleport punch became the teleport uppercut.

Oh and for the ermac facts, you were right about the 10,000 souls because in mortal Kombat x, in one of the intro dialogues with Mileena and Ermac, she said something about 10,000 souls.
Ik smoke ain't in mk 11 but if he was I would love to see an interaction when he fights Johnny or Erron Black just to make a smokey and the bandit reference

In regards to the bomb fact, I was under the understanding that the other realms were still on “planet earth”, but each was a parallel dimension. Like I don’t think going to another realm is going to another planet or solar system haha.
