Wow 1st time I have seen that live with no Sax and no James Freud. Great effort for a good song. Hope they play it at the Sydney gig in September. Nice One.
Pity the drummer didn't hit the cymbals as hard and on the accents as Barton Price did in the studio, let alone missing the drum rolls of the original version...really should have learnt the song as it's a great song...
I know barton gave the song a clear voice. Perfect tempo cymbal crashes highlighted areas. Drummers these days just don't do it the way they used to. James very good comment.
Personally, I prefer James' voice for this song. Sean puts a good spin on it, but has had 20+ years to perfect it.As an aside, Sean actually did record main vox for this track, and both were evaluated by the band. James version was deemed better by the band at the time. He *did* write the song too...
This is a good version... but thats what it is... a version. James was the original and best!! He felt the song. I did like this and would love to see them live... but wish James was still able to sing it 💔

Sean sings this better than James. Shoulda done that on the original track. Suits his voice.
