I learned something beautiful in birth trauma therapy- I can only hope it can help others as well: All birth is natural. Medicated, c-section, vaginal, it doesn't matter what style of birth happens, there's nothing more natural than a mother giving birth 💛

I agree, the pregnancy is the beautiful part. The style of birth doesn’t matter!

I disagree only because of my feelings and how my c sections were it was far from natural I was on so many drugs and they butchered me in my 3 c sections and the recovery was horrible :( I’m trying for a vbac this time so I can enjoy the expirience instead of look back and cry of all the pain and trauma :(

My son’s birth was just like your first, high BP, low HR, emergency c section. So I have also opted for a planned c-section this time around (happening in about 3 weeks). Avoiding the trauma this time is important to me and I’m so happy to hear that your second surgery was so positive. Honestly you hear a lot of horror stories so it’s nice that you are so positive about it overall. Even when things go wrong your attitude seems really healthy!

Its great you shared your story, it prepares me for what to expect. I had an emergency csection for my first and it was horrible! Now its 2 years later I'm not having another baby because im scared. I think i may go for a planned csection cos i would hate to go through what i went through the first time. The thought of having a second csection though makes me panic. Sigh. I live in Nigeria... love your channel and you're beautiful. I shared my story on my channel

2nd c section was amazing, I've had 3 natural births and 2 c sections. Last 2 were sections as i had hardly no water and they were breach. After talking with the doctors they advised me to not try and deliver natural. My first was a huge shock after 3 naturals that were easy and straight forward quick and drug free. I was in so much pain, after the 2nd c section george my son was taken straight to intensive care so I had no choice to get up and get on with it. He needed feeding and I ended up expressing milk every 4-6 hours my belly went down within days and I felt great after 6 days. Everyone is different it's nice to hear other story's, p.s I love love love your home and love watching your videos being a busy mum of 5 and 1 step son is hard work but watching you makes me smile. I just had a vba4c and I wish I had known my right to decline hospital intervention and induction which lead to csections earlier because csections recovery is so hard- especially with other kids to care for. My natural birth recovery was so wonderful. I was up and walkig straight away and home same day with my babies. I’m still on a high! Such an empowering natural experience!

@@Farxadiyoguul I’m in Australia. I laboured at home with a doula until I was transitioning and then went in to the hospital and had him in my arms two hours later. Through my pregnancy I met with supportive midwives and unsupportive OBs. I had to meet with the head of obstetrics to explain I understood the risks but was going to attempt a vaginal delivery as I believes the risks outweighed the risks of repeat csection.

I've got a second C section planned and, based on my experience from the first one, it's a lot easier to sleep in a more upright position than lying down. Because you're totally right, you can't get up or lie down flat by yourself and if you can, it's super painful.

I'm currently scheduled to have my second c-section later today. My first c-section was very traumatic, I was induced, babies heart rate was fluctuating and eventually was taken for an emergency cesarean. I had an allergic reaction in the middle of the procedure and had to be heavily medicated. I was separated from my husband and newborn and sent to intensive care. It was very traumatic and this time around I was really hoping to have a vbac simply because of my fears surrounding having surgery again. Unfortunately yesterday I found out my baby stopped growing for 2 weeks and I have to have a c-section or I'd risk having a stillborn. My entire pregnancy with this baby, I did no preparations mentally for having another c-section because I was so determined to have a vbac ...and I wish I found this video sooner. Thank you for sharing your birth experience. I don't feel so scared anymore. Knowing that hopefully the second cesarean will be more controlled and planned (and that they also preparing to give me different antibiotics this time as opposed to the ones that gave me the allergic reaction the last time) makes me feel more relieved that this procedure will be different. I am worried about postpartum recovery but hearing your positive experience is making me quite hopeful that I can do this. Thank you

Love this. I am about to have my second c section and I also don't have a huge need for a vaginal birth.
I had a lot of trouble trying to conceive and am just happy to be pregnant. I want the baby here as safe as possible.
I have a few people in my circle that see it as a easy way out.
I need to show them this video. Recovery is not easy with a c section. Alot of c section mama's also labor before the procedure. That was me with my first as well.

I've had two natural vaginal births and I just love that I could stand up and be active straight after. Second baby is now 9 weeks old and with her 4 pushes and she was out at a whopping 10lbs! Gravity helps with bigger babies my first was small and a lot longer harder pushes. With this one I was up right away showered and discharged 6hours later! Her 10lb self didn't do any favours for my tummy either lol xxx

Or have any advice?? I'm so nervous)anxious it won't go well as with the twins it went well and was expecting a natural birth as were both head down...till I went into labor and things changed very quickly...I hope this makes sense...thanks for your video also 🙏

Most doctors don't let you give birth naturally after a c section birth.
