I wouldn't say that. I have only released 9 videos. It's very rare for a TH-camr to blow up in the first few uploads. On my other channel it took dozens of videos before I cracked 100k subs. YT has always taken a while to pay off, but when it does it gets huge :)
Found your channel today under suggested videos. What you said is so refreshing 👍. Few years ago,, I loved the Marie Condo concept, bought her book and tried to get rid of stuff even though I did not quite succeed especially with sentimental stuff. Now that I no longer work and is a full time caregiver, minimalism just does not work. I think it is applicable to many as the world is moving towards recession with prices rising and jobs being cut. Things get broken and if we have thrown away all the stuff, we will need money to buy to replace them. You are insightful on this, minimalism can be also a form of attachment towards the few belongings that we have left which itself defeats the purpose. I used to be caught up with specifics of the items like planners and stuff and will go high and low to search for the perfect item. Now, I am just contended with whatever that is available.
Thanks for your comment! The script for this video was originally much longer - I had planned to talk about how the minimalist trend is reversing and what will come next, but I cut it to make the point more concise. Maybe for some future video...
Marie Kondo is not a minimalist. She’s not marketed as a minimalist. But the fact that she’s still thought of as a minimalist, shows people believe whatever they want to believe. 😅
How is this guy with this content and video editing skills only have 670 subscribers? I guess youtube is officially too competitive to even start

@@marketing_monster Better then. Wish you good luck. What is your other chanel, btw?
you can search "marketing mania" and you'll find it :)
The purity comments are right on point. People just wouldn't accept the messy truth about the world. Or at least it doesn't help sell stuff :)
