71-Year-Old Man Dies While Hiking in 120-Degree Weather

Rima Curry is still reeling over the death of her beloved husband, Steve. The 71-year-old retired electrician succumbed to the searing 120-degree heat while hiking in Death Valley. He was an avid outdoorsman who would disappear for days on end to explore national parks near his home. Death Valley was on his bucket list. It comes as two women also died while hiking in hot weather in Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park.
