    Closed my eyes at the end and couldn't hear much of a difference. I just bought one and I am very impressed with the sound, fit and finish, and the playability of this $150 bass.

    I bought the EP and had it shipped to my daughter's across the country so I have something to practice on and play. I am delighted with the instrument. Intonation is perfect. The neck was a bit rough but some fine steel wool solved that issue, and new Ernie Ball strings completed the package. Fret edges are nicely rounded and smooth, and the bass play great, and I would not hesitate to play it in public. .

    So I just got one same color. Dude, I got the gig bag, 6 picks, a 15" ft. cable, another like 6" ft. cable, the truss rod tool and an Allen wrench for the bridge, 3 months of lessons if wanted, a clip on tuner and a leather strap. I have been a vocalist/musician for 30+ years and have never bought or owned a Bass. I have played plenty, but never really needed one to own. Now that my small 3 member band that I just started needed one for practice and recording mostly, I decided to go with this to see if it was ok. Man, I gotta say, other than needing the intonation adjusted... this bass rocks man ! More so because the deal on Amazon was 199.99 for the package. However, there was also a one hundred dollar off coupon ! Lmao 🤣 Plus the extras I received were more than what they mentioned. All for 105 and some change ! This bass is well worth every single penny and then some . I feel as though I just robbed someone or something. Crazy man !!! Thanks to your honest review, my taking a chance paid off easily 5 times over. Thank you for the videos you make and thank you Sawtooth for an amazing way for budget friendly gear to be obtained. This Bass could certainly compete with more well known names... 🧑‍🎤🎶🧔🎸🎶🧒🎸🎶🕺

    I'm a beginner so the finer qualities of the Fender are lost on me. I had my eyes closed at didn't know when you switched but I'm guessing you could make anything sound good. Thanks for the review. I just purchased one.

    That's awesome, but I wish they had a 5 string version.

    I play mostly high end J basses, I do have a P bass with roundwounds, but I want a P Bass to put Flats on and foam for the Jamerson vibe. I think this is going to work. Thanks for the review

    I bought one based on your video. I can't say it has no issues. You probably got a nicer one because they knew you were going to do a video. Mine has a Rosewood fretboard. Fretwork is great even the edges are rolled. Action was medium but it had a buzz on the D string that I could not get rid of. New strings solved the problem. I did a few other tweak and now the action in 3/32" on the highest fret. That's nice. The electronics were noisy and just OK. I shielded the bass and I have new pickups and electronics on order. It wil be a nice bass.

    Takes forever at shipping, but that’s the set up work they do, it’s refreshing
    It’s simple, inexpensive yet very effective

    A lot of bass for the money.

    Yup bought one, frets sharp as hell at the edges, nut at the top is sharp too

      @MyMusicMasterclass  ปีที่แล้ว

      Weird, mine was perfectly smooth on both the frets and nut. You should have them send you a new one.

      Of course they are going to put a perfectly fret-filed and set up bass in every way and send it as an example of what they can produce to someone doing a review video unlike the rest of us that get the one that just rolled off the assembly line

      @@MyMusicMasterclassI bought this same bass, same color, but lefty configuration about a year ago and the finish was perfect, no sharp edges anywhere.

    these basses are really great, but the electronics break often. i've had mine for a little over a year and the pickups have flat out stopped working twice. this was fixable tho, and the instrument sounds fantastic. it's a really great option.

    Aside from the slightly funky headstock this thing looks great. Too many Black w/ white pickguard cheapo basses. The fact that they used a variety of colors and pickguards says something. After having a few cheaper basses I just expect to have to file the frets ends, seems par for the course.

    Neck dive? Basswood body basses are so light. I grabbed ahold of a Glarry a couple weeks ago and it was so light it almost flew out of my hands.

    • @MyMusicMasterclass
      @MyMusicMasterclass  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This bass isn't as light as the Glarry basses I've played. It's well balanced for me with no neck dive.

      @@MyMusicMasterclass Thank you, I really like that bass.

    It was so slight of a difference, maybe the fender had more snap from the pick ups
