I hope they relocate the plans out of the Drachen Fire area and make way for something taller and more extreme. It just doesn’t make sense to plop a small family coaster in the very back of the park.
I seriously hope that bgw does not put a family coaster on draken fire plot. I do really like the idea of a snowboard themed surf coaster. That would be awesome. SeaWorld orlando if my home park so I know this design very well and it is a awesome ride.
I agree! And yeah, the surf coaster is such an intriguing concept/ride model. (To think everyone doubted Pipeline based on the reputation of the old stand-up coasters..)
As these are both my home parks I think they are both underwhelming as replacements for defunct fan favorites and the use of festhaus park is extremely disappointing for a family coaster that you won't be able to see from the Octoberfest midway. However, it is nice to see KD out shining BGW with their addition as that rarely happens
My home parks! I hope both happen, but FOF and I305 are solid stand alone thenes, its not needed to suck them into jungle ex... they are off a different path already. But they need bathrooms down there more than a retheme!
I realized this about I305 and FOF when I was editing. They could probably do something very similar with what they did with Orion and FOF at Kings Island. One thing’s for sure: I305 *needs* a repaint.
I feel like the B&M Invert needs to be in Ireland because there’s barely anything over there other than Finnegans Flyer. The RMC or a Surf Coaster belongs in the Drachen Fyre plot because it is HUGGEEEEE
I disagree with re-theming Intimidator 305. Arguably, there's only 2 major theme parks where a NASCAR ride makes sense. Carowinds, obviously, being near Charlotte (home of NASCAR and most of its teams). And Kings Dominion, which bookends with Carowinds some of the most iconic NASCAR tracks like Charlotte, North Wilkesboro, Martinsville and nearby Richmond. You could argue for the Orlando parks being close to Daytona, but I don't see Disney or Universal ever doing that. It also sort of ties in with Cedar Point's Top Thrill coaster, which seems to be shifting from a NHRA theme to F1. So there's a bit of shared branding within Cedar Fair.
That makes sense, but the licensing of that theme and Cedar Fair’s history of retheming rides after acquiring Paramount’s parks is something to take into account.
BGW has a better shot at getting a coaster than KD...I'm sorry but I'm just not ready to fully believe that wing coaster rumor at this point considering how the same site that claimed they had irrefutable proof of such a ride for 19 that obviously didn't happen.

Yeah, I can see why. Hopefully the merger with Six Flags influences a Volcano replacement soon.
The old wing coaster was leaked before covid came around basically ruining the plans
