Oh man, I haven't seen the band since 1990...when did you guys get old! After Automatic, I left the country for 10 yrs. I couldn't get a hold of any J & MC. I'm rediscovering them and they sound great. I'm relieved to see that I can actually see them. Saw them 1989. Oddest concert I've been to. I don't know if it was intentional but there was a thick wall of smoke so thick that through the entire show... No one ever saw them! I told my brother that those fuckers are either home or across the street at the pub getting liquored up! You guys owe me a show. You guys are awesome
I love this band! We looked so cool.. Dressed in black.. Driving classic muscle cars.. & Our Boy Friend's were Smooth.. Lol.. Cheers to the best of times !
By the time "Come On" was being played in this 2022 show, the band had already played longer than almost all of their gigs in 1984-1985, where they were often heading off backstage through a hail of thrown projectiles and feedback after a mere quarter of an hour.
Band sounds fantastic and Jim's vocals are better than i've heard in years! Not really feeling the set list though. Missing Teenage Lust and Hole especially
@@harrymiddlemas6898 Nope. Set times for both the weekends have been pubblished BEFORE cancellation of Strokes' show (1st weekend), and Strokes should have been played both the weekends (as, for example, Gorillaz).

I used to love listening to this band, they were a very tame version of the Velvet Underground and they did some brilliant tunes.

It might be because the Strokes were originally meant to play on the first weekend and they had to find a spot to fit them in on weekend two
