It's pretty common knowledge that Brees is more like 5'11, find a pic of someone who is actually 6ft standing next to him and it will be clear :p Apparently during the combine before he was drafted they measured him at 5'11 and he refused to leave until they bumped him up to 6ft, as he knew how important it was (especially back then) psychologically to not been seen as a 'short' QB

Brady won rings with good teams and definitely carried most of the load at times but Drew brees was an entire franchise for 13 years. I mean, like Marino. If drew had a losing team, it was a team bad enough to go winless. He carried a city for so long with no talent around him. The three balanced teams they gave him all got to the conference championship and even a Super Bowl. You put brees in New England and they might’ve gotten 7-8 in the same span. I’m not a saints fan but it’s been an honor to watch both guys. I feel like they’re both GOATs in their own way. I don’t identify a GOAT. I put 5 guys in a shortlist and admit that they all have a case. Those two are on that list. Drew is that guy when we were growing up that when he’s on your team, makes you cocky enough to talk shit because you know drew will back it up

And that longevity came from hard work in the off-season, and healthy lifestyle habits. It also helps that he's a GREAT DUDE. What an NFL treasure!
People don't realize how much happiness Drew has brought to the entire Southeast Louisiana in a time of pain and struggle the following several years after Hurricane Katrina. We all love this dude for skills, personality and for being a great role model for the kids growing up around here. We hope he can bless us with another Superbowl before he retires, if not he has done enough for us and his own legacy.

Even during the LSU-OU game yesterday, one of the commentators compared Burrow to Tom Brady. Burrow is practically a clone of Drew, but for some reason, they compared him to Brady (who, in MHO, could use a slice of humble pie, unlike THE most humble QB to ever play the game). For years, I've said that there will never be another Drew Brees, but LSU definitely has found one! God bless Drew and the Saints
