    • @fetB
      @fetB ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It doesnt help the dog, though. For one, sensitive hearing doesnt mean that noises are louder for dogs but that they can register a wider range of frequencies. Loudness is the same as for us. If the dog is scared of loud noises its because it doesnt trust in the owner knowing whats up. Good on them for not supporting this bs.

    That is really neat. Keep your dogs inside during events or anytime you can’t monitor them. Get anxiety meds and sedatives from a vet, make sure to get a full panel blood test for health reasons first.

    This is confusing in many levels. 1) why only focus on dogs? Cats also have sensitive ears! 2) is this meant for dogs that go to fireworks with their owners or if they're in the house? Because having a carrier that can be sound proof for a pet to be in for a couple hours during fireworks makes more sense than headphones... That way you can get the cat market too.

    They should try to take them to kennels/dog boarding Houses, doggie day camps since a lot of their owners tend to drop them off for certain holidays. They could rent them or buy them there like an add on. That would be a great strategy. Plus lots of pet owners is great advertising aka word of mouth!

    This woman is nuts. That poor dog not only very obviously doesn't like having it in its head, that little doggy got scared once she put that giant thing on. The dog was way more comfortable in that environment pre-headphone.
    Plus, the dog isn't going to understand why the thing is being put on them.

    Just don't take your dogs to 4th of July parties and during thunderstorms lock dogs up in a safe room. Save $200 for party supplies .

    • @pauldavis5665

      Not sure where you live but where I am you don't need to go to a 4th of July party for fireworks. No matter where you go there are people setting them off everywhere. As for a safe room, well obviously if you have a completely padded soundproof room that would be the best option, but not everyone does.

    It amazes me that the sharks have no concept of how much money people will spend on their pets. Most people give their dogs some type of sedatives during storms and fireworks, and over time that becomes costly. This would be a one time expense....I think they were short sighted on this

    A niche of a niche of a niche, Robert? If you live near a beach (at least on the east coast), fireworks go off all the time. And this wouldn't just be for fireworks. This would be great for travel, too. Dogs need treating and training to accept harnesses sometimes, too. I think if the helmet were designed more like a harness, it would work better and not fall off so easily. The price point is a bit high, too, but it's definitely a good idea and not as niche as described.

    • @TheMattTrakker

    Here’s what I would do, take out the active noise, cancellation, because I doubt that any level of active noise cancellation will be able to help with fireworks and things that she’s most likely targeting, and make it a passive noise, cancellation system, model it after the noise, canceling headphones that they use in new, demolition, and construction work, high-quality noise, canceling headphones, like that I really good, they also really expensive, but they can be cheaper than the active noise, canceling type of headphones, both to make, and buy, and they would be way more effective, what do you need to do is, look into it material that can you absorb or block, more sound, and designs that can dissipate more sound, may I suggest a silencer, like he would find on the end of military weapons, you won’t be able to reduce the noise completely, but the point is to reduce it to a sufficiently tolerable level, for different dogs.
