It is useful. We know that the wood is seasoned for more than 10 year to get it dry completely. Would the re-moisture change the structure of the dry wood and affect the sound accordingly? Many thanks
Ideally you would adjust the bridge often enough that it wouldn’t warp. This is a student line instrument that I deal with at a school. I have about 200 instruments that I have to monitor and maintain. This is a quick fix and keeps the instruments playable and limits expensive bridge replacement.
