That's right Rambone, They are having fun and growing, Give them some time this kind of equipment is all new to them. I know they want to do better and they will.
They are still completing against nascar owners that are playing. If they were really trying help the sport like they say. They would be getting a super late crate series going. Like the old semi-late or steel block class from the 90's. Because of nascar in the woo and lucas oil, they have drove alot of drivers that have marginal income and limited sponsorships. There is a 525 crate motor available, but very few guys will run it.. it needs to be ran like the crate late motors, 400 hp, run spec shocks, that crate lates do not run, it is starting to become expensive also, too many high dollar races for that class, bringing in nascar and other noticeable drivers to run those crate 50,000 dollar shows. Not want this show was for. A guy I helped in the past, we took a 10 year old d super late car, put a $5000chev.400 hp crate motor with $75.00 walmart shocks and went to a local dirt track and in five races, we had 3 wins, and 2 top 5's in five races. It makes all about driver skill. Your super late is nothing more than who has the most money to win 10,000 dollar shows. That is not what the old Hampa-Tampa or Stars series were about in the late 80s and through the 90s, just asks Freddy Smith, the southern gentleman. Your super lates are almost gone at your local tracks now, Hagerstown Speedway 1/2 mile track used to run b-mains for a regular Saturday night shows. Now they only run special races there now. Soon the only super lates will be woo and Lucas Oil and they too will die if our economy gets very bad, look at the 6 to 7 dollar diesel prices now, some of those cars are not following all the shows can't afford the fuel price. Hunt the Front have done very well on their own. If it's so easy, I like to see these nay sayers try doing what they are doing. They are also having fun, they don't take theirs elves too seriously either. They are out there trying g to have fun, and get all these nay sayers complain , if it's so easy, then they need to get off there butts and help out. I know this is about, it's alot of work to keep one car in shape, my buddy hired a guy to do nothing but work on his two cars all the time, he was busy everyday.
Guys heck of a run at it. New car new motor somethings will transfer from past notes somethings won’t. Keep at it. Thank y’all for sharing this experience with all of us and keep up the hard work.
This is great experience going to a big race with a new car and new engine and it will make you more successful as time goes on. Keep trying to learn, experiment and test and you will keep moving up.

These guys just will not go away silently into the night. It only makes them dig deeper and try harder. The look of rejection on Josephs face was felt in my heart. Yet with odds against them went out yesterday and almost smoked everyone in the heat race. Go HTF I'm pulling for you.
It seems alot more like gokart racing when you have this many cars... the draw makes a HUGE difference, theres not enough time to pass everyone your quicker than.... AND , losing a position from a mistake or choosing a bad line or something can make a pretty big difference in your night....

I've pulled for Davenport for years and I was figuring it would be either him or Overton racing for the million dollars and hell Brandon didn't even get into the show and I was really shocked at that but that showed how hard this week and weekend was going to be for all teams and you boys have a shot at the 130,000 tonight for the dream and no matter where you finish, I'm still proud of y'all just like everyone else is and you you all are getting to do something that none of the rest of us are doing right now but people need to remember, it's not impossible for any of us to go out here and do this
Well you didn't make the million, BUT if I did my math correctly (doubtful 🤣) you ended up around 41st overall and that's a hell of a lot better than some teams did including some big name teams! And you did a hell of a job last night in the heat race for the dream finishing second and now not having to worry about the B-Main. Great job!
Car had flashes of speed in the B! But the track looked slick slick! Oh well great experience for the whole team! Great effort! The great runs will come for sure! Keep the faith ( Jesus Lives)
When sounds like you run 3 laps wide open in qualifying and you are 15th in your group you know it’s going to be tough. Getting that pole in the heat made all the difference to making the Dream Main.
I don't know where you've been but far as the money they went from carport racers to about to move in there own race shop there already went from part time to full time racers as far as the car it's brand new and a capital race car is not a cheap one and as far as the motor it's as brand new Jay Dickerson and it's not cheap so they have the best equipment and they have been racing since they were old enough to drive the only thing holding them back right now is that the car is new and they haven't got it all set up right but they will get it
Dude you clearly don't know what your TALKING about, you say they don't have the money but they showed with two cars one being new never ran a lap and both tucked away in a two hundred and fifty thousand dollar car hauler and it's well over that since they went and bought a bigger one because they wanted one with more motor for the longer hauls. These guys have all the help they need to run with the big boys and with three guys on the team that have proven they all can win any race on this planet I'd say with much thought, you don't know what your TALKING about. No disrespect dude but I'm stating the obvious.

There a lot of brand new cars there! If mr langefelder asked them what kind of motor do you guys want and they chose Jay dickens over clements or Cornett that’s on them! There is 50 clements motors here this weekend I don’t know of any other dickens motors here! Ractek or Dickens would have never crossed my mind if they were told to order a new motor and someone else was paying for it! There just young and out of there league

@@joeblow3435 You ever looked up a PI sheet (product info) on Rotella? Rotella is far superior to even high performance racing oils and way cheaper. The fan is a crate deal, 2" smaller fan on same hp motor is a lot in competition less drag. If your at a place it's cooler run smaller fan. The starter sitch is what happens when you go from 12 to 16 volt and wire it incorrectly..pretty common mistake

I've watched HTF rise from the bottom with bad equipment to now. The people that say theyr washed up need to go kick rocks and watch someone else. Because these guys deserve to be where they're at now. They worked their asses off for this. And to anyone who doesn't know. They are rookies against these guys. Give them awhile. Yes. They have one way communication which is only used by the race director to make sure everyone is lined up correctly and to alert cautions and what not. No crew member is allowed to talk to their driver. That is why they started using sticks because it’s the visual way to say what you would over radio communication.
I can't keep wondering why not go to a higher gear ratio when you seem too have too much power? Maybe somebody can answer that for me. Great effort anyway.

Yes sir on a rough track you get quite sore and there is a great deal of fatigue involved go back and look at cletus's run and when he got out he couldn't believe how hard it was to keep your head up straight lol but it's okay you get over it

I often wonder if the boys have sat up nights editing videos and reading comments from so called fans only to think the same thing I have for a long time..this is free entertainment to the public provided by the htf Boys although I have no doubt they appreciate the support comments and the fans cheering them on it must get old to read the constant bitches that think it's their money running this team.. as far as it goes for this fan ..keep running the chassis engines and parts you choose with blessing not costing me a dime and come Monday morning win or lose I enjoy watching yall give your best and my bank account didn't change a bit because of it ..run the races you wanna run and keep on racing and having fun you don't have to have nobody's approval to do that !!

I've watched HTF rise from the bottom with bad equipment to now. The people that say theyr washed up need to go kick rocks and watch someone else. Because these guys deserve to be where they're at now. They worked their asses off for this. And to anyone who doesn't know. They are rookies against these guys. Give them awhile. Yes. They have one way communication which is only used by the race director to make sure everyone is lined up correctly and to alert cautions and what not. No crew member is allowed to talk to their driver. That is why they started using sticks because it’s the visual way to say what you would over radio communication.
WoO / Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series does not allow the drivers to have radio communications with their pit ...

Yes sir on a rough track you get quite sore and there is a great deal of fatigue involved go back and look at cletus's run and when he got out he couldn't believe how hard it was to keep your head up straight lol but it's okay you get over it
