Instacart Will Deactivate You For THIS In 2024

- Back with content!! This time we made good money again, but watch out for this! I've seen A LOT of people on the internet getting deactivated lately for doing this too often. Preserve your Instacart account and keep making the money for as long as you can!! LET'S GO!!
If it stated on the offer screen that it is a two order batch and you click to accept you are essentially entering into a binding agreement (not accounting for unforeseen circumstances) to do that order so yes even as independent contractors you can be deactivated. It's just the same as if you're going to any other kind of agency to do work as an independent contractor. If you don't do what you sign up for and agree to do, that agency in this case Instacart, can deactivate its contractors especially in states where employment is at will. they don't have to give you a reason to deactivate you and you don't have to give them a reason why you delete your account or don't do batches for them for a period of time.

Heard about that removing order stuff on another gig tubers vid also have been doing Instacart for 4 years 2000 orders never once removed an order from a batch never even thought about it. Thanks for the heads up will continue to not do it. Only time had to cancel a single shop order after shopping for 40 items but customer was extremely disrespectful so was not gonna deliver to someone like that Instacart understood did not get penalized. Instacart should make it a rule for shoppers not to hangout inside the stores waiting for a batch. Literally now day shoppers are hanging out inside so they could see batches first smh

I had a customer give me the wrong address. He gave me his work address and meant to give me his home address. But he did tip extra when I dropped off his order. Love when people do that.
100% gig $ man i have been warned through email if i keep removing customers they will deactivate. I believe if you remove 3 in a certain time span you get flagged.
I never remove customers unless a customer texts me to remove the order.

They cannot deactivate you. You are an independent contractor. You have to make an excuse such as the address being too far and too much traffic, there is an accident and I will take too much time, the customer has given me issues in the past. ANY reasonable excuse to have the order removed. You will not have issues. I remove customers every day and. I have been doing it for like two years. Do not do it always, but when you need to, you can do it.
Unfortunately this isnt true anymore. It used to be. But even if you give reasonable excuses they will still flag and deactivate you eventually

Cristian is 100% correct - they are getting rid of people who routinely remove customers. Instead of removing the far customer, do your best to try and take an Uber Eats in their direction (they may even give you an order going back) 👍
These instacart shoppers have never shopped for themselves. They put a 5 pound bag of flour on top of your loaf of bread. The F N bread is squashed. Then they put the groceries right in front of the door so you can't open the door to get the groceries. Happens 9 times out of 10. You tell them instructions NOT to put the groceries in front of the door. They then put the groceries in front of the door.

They will not deactivate you. I call support all the time to remove an order from the Batch. As long you don’t reach 15% cancellation rate you are good
They will if you do it too often, be careful. Cancellation rate is a separate thing. They will send you an email saying that you’ve violated the contract by taking orders without the intention of completing them as they are
@@Gig_DollarMan i agree somewhat, they WILL deactivate you if you do it all the time and its obvious, but if you do it sparsely and maybe like 1 or twice a week max, youll have no problems, i always just tell them i have had issues with customer in past and i tell the agent i am giving them 5 stars

when its one item like 3 lunchables, just say out of stock, you still get base pay for the drive, max a customer would tip on that is like 2 bucks....
I'm not sure where you get that information from. But I have been a shopper since two thousand eighteen.. But I have been removed batches for the last 2 years. Because I have figured out that instart was not paying us for one of the orders. Maybe $1.
That's why the rip usually acts for a reason.. You really don't have to give them a reason✅️ But I do to be polite. Remember, we are 1099.. Name 1 person that got deactivated for removing an order🤔

you drive so many miles, i just can't stomach doing a shopping order for 40 bucks for 15 miles..i rather just do ubereats at the point and not deal with shopping for 2 dollars a mile
300 is great as long as you don't drive a ton of miles which i assume you do, i looked at greenville area and there is only one costco therfore you gotta drive double miles essentially, my guess is your mileage is really high
Yeah my miles are so high I lose money according to you… lol. Gotta run the higher mileage right now since most rich people that live a mile from the stores are out of town. It’s about adapting to seasons here in my market. I used to think like you hahaha!! and I would make way less money by passing up on orders and then waiting for hours to end up calling the day. As far as Costco, yeah… I mean, I’m gonna email the county to build more of them so I can drive less lol!!! 😂
@@Gig_DollarMan well i guess it all depends the area, my area has 3 costcos and im right between all 3, but i hardly do costco orders i just stick to publix aldi and target basically lol i hate costco. for me to drive 19 miles i need like 60 at least and i still wouldn't be happy about it lol

Shoot I know a few shoppers who have been doing it for years and haven’t got deactivated. I myself won’t risk it but yeah.
i do maybe one or twice a week, you can definitely do it just don't abuse it and make it obvious.

I’m visiting Pennsylvania and here is dead no orders at all. Only in the winter 🥶 is good. But other than that is terrible. I make $0 dollars with Instacart today.
