There never seems to be enough time! It's SUCH a beautiful resort with an amazing pool complex, really incredible food at the quick service with large portions... and then with the proximity to the parks and Downtown Disney.... You really can't beat it!
I’m so sorry with my delay in responding! For Disneyland early entry, you will go through security at the private entrance to Downtown Disney and wait at Disneyland park. For Disney California Adventure park early entry, the best place from the Grand Californian is at the private entrance.

I know when we went last year I was shocked to see how big the line for early entry was! One day it went completely through the lobby so we just totally skipped early entry. Hoping to actually take advantage of it this year so I’m scoping things out 😝

@ThatMomKat I would say it’s probably wise to be in line a good 30 minutes before early entry to be scanned in right away. Maybe 45.
