We really like your campground review videos. Just curious, have you revisited Shoal Creek and have they addressed any of the maintenance concerns? Particularly the playground. Thanks!
how is cell service? I might be doing some contract work in the area and that is one of the campgrounds I am looking at. That might be a nice metric and or consideration to add in future reviews.
Any recommendations on north ga mountain full hook up sites? Looking to go after Christmas for New Years. Would like a beautiful scenery and atmosphere
Since we live in Buford, We've camped here several times...Always on the tent side though. There are a couple of tent sites that are decent here. You are definitely camping here for the lake Lanier experience that is for sure, since Georgia state parks just offers so much better camping! The bathrooms are always horrible....not just because of the dirt and the teenage mutant ninja spiders on the women's side, for extra fun the men's restroom didn't even have a door/curtain on the toilet stall. So, my husband got to do his "morning business" totally exposed every. single. day.. 🤣 and IF you are lucky enough to get a shower curtain, expect 2"-3" gaps on BoTh sides🙈 DEFINITELY, not one of my favorite places to camp, but if you have a boat or jetskis, I can certainly see the appeal of wanting to camp here. If they would clean up the bathrooms and make some MUCH NEEDED repairs, this could be a great place to camp. It is nice to see the roaming deer :) we have seen them every time we visit....
