Who built that castle there? Why didn't we notice it before ??!!??

This week we visit the Scottish West coast town of Kilmarnock to run round an amazing park, visit some cool wee charity shops and explore a castle, complete with knights in shining armour.

All our videos are hand made from 100% organic ingredients ;). Our content is mostly filmed on a GoPro 11 with a Rode fluffy microphone to keep the wind noise down, with occasional bits on an iPhone13. We also use a DJI Mini 3 drone which we're loving getting to grips with.
We make our own music using GarageBand and the videos are edited in iMovie.

Quite an adventure on the West side of Scotland. I'll volunteer to be a groundskeeper as long as there is WiFi and indoor plumbing. Those are some crazy music vinyl albums. Never heard of any of those artists. Cracken Video!

What a great castle! I used to have a pen friend in Kilmarnock - Union Street i think - when I was a child. Ooo what a lovely felting kit, good luck! I sent Bex a crochet pattern for a Puffin, so maybe you'll both have a circus of them soon 😉

Looking forward to the new mics! I am right there with Bex and her addiction to scones! Blueberry or chocolate chip are my favorites! I just wish they had them in the bakeries here in the US! By the way, the deer are Axis deer. They are native to the Indian subcontinent.

My husband and I also enjoy charity shops, and coffee shops. Wish we had scones in the USA, unless one has access to posh bakeries but alas we do not.
I was sad to see the fast food shop “Subway” from the USA.

I got behind on videos while on vacation in Scandinavia. I sure hope you are going to show us the outcome of your puffin needle felting! I'd also love to know how many times you stab yourself in the finger while doing it. Can you tell from that request that I've tried needle felting? 😆

I got curious about the statues with the little stars on them. It turns out they're done by Scottish sculptor Shona Kinloch and the main one (the one standing with arms on the air) is called called: Kilmarnock Swimmer. He and the other ones were created to represent the Kilmarnock Water that flows below the street.
