In this video how you taking the loads. Calculations and loads please explain. This design in staad pro connect edition - warning coming. Design of member is not supported. I cant finalise the design.
Dear sir, I have gone through all your video tutorials related to staad pro design and I really liked them very much . But in no video I found the application of wind load along z direction . Nowhere you have used seismic loads in 3d And in load combinations also you have not considered it. Further I have one doubt in double sloped roofs there are two roofs windward and leward But in monoslope roof I am confused with the roof coefficients. Can you prepare any video tutorial explaining monoslope roofs ang above doubts also? Thank you for your efforts for new staad pro learners.
Not at all required application of wind load along z direction, only some cases, we need to apply the wind load in z direction. for example in the structure no need to give the wind load on z direction, because interior structures doesn't expose to the wind along z direction, so that we won't apply wind load on that direction. in case of exterior frame we need to provide wind load in z direction. Seismic loads are not required for all project except seismic high risk zone projects. you will get mono slope roof design later in staad pro. you won't get soon, it might be take long time, because i am not dealing with staad pro yet.
Purlin is connected to sheeting at top flange (lip). So can we take Ly as 300mm (distance between screws)?
Nice video sir, I need more visitors

thanks bro.
Welcome
Can we use sag rod and reduce the unsupported length. But what are the design steps involved in introducing sag rod. Kindly if you can update.
Hi, Sir Ji,, Whether to assume as simply supported or as continuous beam?
simply supported, purlin placed on two frames.
@@GaniSk Thanks for prompt reply.
@@raviprasadvoletiBR16L You are most welcome
