Staircase Design using by Staad Pro V8i

The Modeling part of Dog legged Staircase, create steps with the help of linear Grid system, create the plate mesh with Finite Element Method,(FEM) Assigning the fixed support to the joint of staircase and slab, Assigning the section property of the elements,add load cases,add selfweight & plate load(pressure on full ), assigning the Live load to the staircase as per Indian Standard.Analysis the structure and check the error.view output/post processing.check the plate stress (max absolute) colour diagram,nodal displacement, maximum displacement/ animation for all load cases.
Concrete Design as per IS 456( with M30 grade of concrete)add design parameters, check the concrete Design what will be the top and bottom reinforcement and also how to calculate the total reinforcement for elements design, check the total number of plate/element.
Dog legged Staircase is one of the simplest forms of the staircase in which a landing is provided between two flights that meet at 180 degrees.
It makes economic use of the space and normally, the length of its flights is kept unequal.
The pitch angle is similar to the angle between a dog’s legs, therefore, it is known as the Dog leg Staircase.
However, construction is challenging and the handrail provision is difficult too.
Above all, dog leg Staircases are most widely used for their compact design...
