i fall in love with every song in one tree hill. but thiss song was just amazing for the coda. and all the oth scenes just fit perfectly there choice of music just flows with the show so goood. im so grateful theres a season 8. WOOOOHOOO!
+Mikayla Johnson I believe it was the finale of season 7 and the shooter was actress Amanda Schull who I met five years ago and she was very nice. She also starred in Center Stage
beautifully breathtaking song.......and just to point out this was written and recorded in Nashville just a little over a week after we had the horrible flooding that destroyed hundreds and hundreds of homes and workplaces....so this song definitely gives some inspiration and hope to those of us who were affected. Things will most definitely "turn around"...thanks for making such a beautiful and touching song.
I'm so proud I was bought here by one tree hill. Brilliant show and brilliant artist Dallas is, I would of found it anyway having been a life long alexisonfire fan but still no need to bad mouth any means of media for talents like him to show off on.
I am pretty messed up right now, but I have to say that this song is pretty amazing. I am glad that Dallas and Courtney and co. got together to write this song, 'cause it's amazing. Here's to more amazing songs that perfectly fit the finale of any show's season finale.
oh also, this song wouldn't exist without one tree hill, it was made especially for the final episode of season 6? I think or season 5. They were looking for a song that fit the mood and message of that episode and because they couldn't find one that fit exactly they got Dallas in to make it. Fair enough if you don't like one tree hill but you should be thanking it for this.
@@nehajoshi1533 hnm I try to post it but it got deleted or smth… anyways if you search Nashville skyline carry you home on Apple Music it comes right up… the thumbnail has some balloons on it . Hope that helps 😃
i absolutley love this song . its amazing , and i also loveee one tree hill . everybody should watch it because they really don't know what their missing out on. its an amazing show. so yeahh . i can't waitttt for the next episode ! ive been waiting forever to see the next episode . so they need to hurry up and make it ! ahaha [: loveeeeee oneeee treeee hilllll ! :D
@HUGHESY012 A coda is typically used in musical terms to describe the last section of a composition, usually the part of the composition that wraps up the song/performance as a whole. Often it is taken into television terms used to describe generally a montage of scenes that summarise and wrap up that episode. They can be accompanied by a voice over of some description (in the case of OTH it is usually Lucas, Mouth or one of the other prevalent characters saying something philosophical).
you're so cool, because you knew about a song before everyone else. you must be so spectacularly special and a fantastic individual who in reality gets nothing of significance for your prior knowledge of a wonderful song. Kudos to you. You deserve it. Not being sarcastic or anything.
@vartanfan87 it's actualy a collaboration between OTH creator Mark Schwahn, and musicians Matthew Ryan, Michael Grubbs, Courtney Jaye, and Dallas Green.
dallas green makes me weak, i dont care if i am caught listening to beautiful music in public, anytime of the day, and anywhere because it is music that will last forever unlike everything else
I think you got me mixed up^ I already knew Dallas was apart of Alexisonfire but when you listen to City of Colour and Alexisonfire he just seems different

@caigiaa yes but its also a very emotional song and i had an issue with someone i cared about at the time that showed me this song and it reminds me of that someone so it was upsetting , people have their own takes on a song , you have yours and i have mine

@@dominicbarnfather5581 absolutely, thank you so much for asking!
6:55 on wards is haunting. Dallas' soft vocalization of : "In December I remember, we smiled for a while." This sends chills up my spine.

As a huge Dallas fan i think its really obvious its him. he still sang in alexisonfire as he does as city and colour.
