Yea it would be cool but when SCS hires the promods team they have to work with limited textures, and all this stuff so a bad PC can run the DLC/update, and now as "members" of the modding community they can do what they want.
I was born in Wales now live in London and I still have family there, so looking at this video I'm blown away with how accurate everything looks, like Squirrel has stated the 'feel' of the place is spot on. Wonderful job. If this is a sign of the rest of the map, then a lot of people will love this update!!!
Hey Squirrel, in case you are interested; Š in all the slavic languages is pronounced SH, so Šibenik is She-Ben-ick and Niš is niche. C is a TS sound not a K sound so Kragujevac is Kra-goo-ye-vats Otherwise I think you did a really good job with the pronounciation. Cheers!

After living in Wales for about 5 yrs I can say that those 2 towns were really good and I liked the fact that they have made more roads around Wales and maybe in time there might be more
"I really wish we could go into the centre" of London. Take it from someone who regularly drives trucks in central London - you really don't (though ETS2's traffic AI performs slightly better than your average rush hour london driver 😂 ). Agree though it does look a lot better 👍
I'm with you on that one brother, my first day out after I passed my test was steel bar, 3 drops and all in Central London - talk about being thrown into the fire!
Nope, plenty of runs will go from wherever in the world to the centre of London, Paris (urgh!) Rome, wherever. I've done long distance runs to cities myself and have many friends who do them. Long distance driving isn't just from big industrial estates to other big industrial estates. Quite often the longest runs will start and end at some tiny little backstreet warehouse in a major city.
I'm so amazed and happy eurotruck simulator 2 started, I feel very small, and niche. Now with promods it's crazy. large and a go anywhere feel. Just love it. The guys making these mods deserve payment for this work. And having said that, I feel donations are in order!
I've been on a holiday in Wales just this summer. We stayed in Barmouth, which is just a bit south of Porthmadog, and I can only recommend it, it was beautyful. Don't worry about the trains not showing up in ProMods, they are like that in real life... There's few of them and of the ones that there are, about 20 per cent get cancelled. But otherwise I think Wales is well worth a visit.
I live in Wales but in the south which is rather different to the west coast, but I have seen the beauty of it and experienced driving around the beautiful villages. Also as a Welsh speaker, hearing you pronounce some of the Welsh words is rather hilarious!
I have been on that railway at Porthmadog. Takes u through some lovely scenery all the way to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Done a brilliant job with that causeway with line on one side and road on the other. 10 out of 10 for ProMods.
Imagine if they added Adriatic coastway through Montenegro and a connection from Budva - Cetinje - Podgorica through Morača canyon to Serbia... incredibly attractive roads, mountainous just like in Norway. Balkans are amazing.
So, a few things: 1) You started in South Wales , in Pembrokeshire, and drive through Mid Wales up to Snowdonia (Porthmadog is in Snowdonia), The other mountain range you’re probably talking about in the Pembrokeshire is the Brecon Beacons! 2) Actually, there are over 100 Welsh speakers alone in London, a handful in Cornwall and outside of the UK Welsh can be heard in Canada, Australia and Peru! 3) Love the video, I’ll be patient and wait for ProMods to update to be compatible with 1.32 of ETS2. Porthmadog is very accurate for the scale, walked across the rail bridge towards the town last year while at Festival No. 6 and went to the Tesco there too. Will be heading there again next month for Festival No. 6 again. Very Excited about this update.
They've just started building the festival . Plenty of trucks transporting stuff there now . I live 1 mile from the festival and work in Portmeirion . C U September😊👍🏼

The other road doesn't go through Snowdon, it's the Brecon Beacons. It goes through Llandrindod Wells, Newtown, Welshpool and Oswestry. It would be ace to see the A458 put in to link Machynlleth and Welshpool up, it's a very testing road!
Cast your mind back a few years ago and on one of your streams, Keralis was asking for his home city of Ystad to be included in ProMods. Now, it is in ProMods, YAY!

That section of road between St. Clears and Cardigan on the A478 is so accurate, even the roundabout exits on the way around to the A487 northbound are exactly roight, I was only the six months ago
I wish they would add Wirral, considering it's between Liverpool, North Wales and Chester. My childhood was growing up, and exiting from Wales along that road. Weirdly though, radio city isn't usually right there... The Wirral Peninsula, surrounded by the Irish Sea, Dee Estuary and River Mersey.
Great, they added my holiday route. Two times I drove from Berlin (Germany) to Chalkidiki (Greece) with my own car. We took the route via Slovakia - Serbia (Beograd) - Mazedonia and Thessaloniki.
Thanks for the very nice video. I love the beautiful cities and sky's that I saw. At 6:09 you see a double traintrack in the front of you. That is the Betuweroute. It's special created for cargotrains and they can drive until the German border. As safety system it ECTS and 25 kV on the line. Cargotrains that are driving: DB BR189, Captrain E186, BR193 Vectron, MeTrans E186, RheinCargo E186 diesellocomotive, SBB BR186 and I think more. Rotterdam looks very beautiful.
I tried the trailer beta and after couple of days my game save stopped working. If I installed mods like this map will I lose all progress when new version of game comes out?
Always use separate saves for something like Pro Mods. But for Betas, you're usually safe to use your old saves, however you can't normally go back with that save file and play the older version, so you'll need to wait until the official release comes out of beta. I've still got a few save games that I've been playing since ATS came out, and have played all the betas with it, same with ETS2, although I haven't played it since release. But usually for the bigger releases, like DLC's, I generally will start a new game anyway since I enjoy doing so.
Squirrell - BTW - the Average Speed Camera aren't always between the 2 adjacent camera sites.... As long as the cameras are placed in the correct locations, and the distance between each site is accurately measured, then the speed algorithm will work out the speed :) I used to smile everytime I saw drivers "surfing" driving fast up to the camera, slamming their brakes on, then speeding up afterwards :) Loving the Welsh scenery - really is accurate representations of the building in South/Mid Wales.
22:30, I was the same with promods Scotland. Actually recognised the roads & could roughly place myself based on the scenery. The only difference being the ETS road width being ~50% greater, likely due to AI routing.
I`m a huge Promods fan and everytime they Update, its like Christmas all over! But What eurotruck really needs is stuff to spend your money on! The hole “your Compagny thing” is absolutly not working! You could not bankrupt yourself even If you tried. I have 17 zillionbillion euro in the bank, and absolutly nothing to spend it on. A little fuel and 10 euro in roadtaxes is not going to do it. Lets get an avatar that can leave the truck to go do things. The ideas are absolutly queueing! Like different ranks to hotels.., the bigger price the better rest. Drinks and foods in a system similar to the need for sleep. The better trucks you drivers have, the more money they could make! Just to mention the tip of the iceberg... I just wish somebody would mod the gameplay in same fantastic way that Promods did with the maps!

I’m watching this whilst on holiday on the west coast of Wales (Fishguard to be precise) 👍 and I’ve driven around and some parts are identical to real life !
The A483 goes over/past the Brecon Becons and just off the top of the Snowdonia national park. Only reason I know that is because half way down it is a town called Llanwrtyd Wells where I worked.
In our town in Germany they just painted a kind of oval onto the middle of the street, as a helper for pedestrians. It's interesting, most people drive around it even if it is a bit uncomfortable, e. g. due to a close, parking car. I mean, when there are no pedestrians. I drive a straight line because navigating around street paintings makes no sense when there are no pedestrians.
Ive been playing ETS2 two seriously for almost 2 years and I don't have promods, wish I had this sooner because it really seems to make the game so much more immersive!
I live 2 miles from the Welsh Boarder and there a lot of sheep and my county Shropshire is a sheep farming countyand the promods made wales quite good but they missed the chunk of the A49 that heads up to Warrington from Cardiff also that is my main road and needs the A41 on the boader of wales and my town was built by the Chester to Woxterer Roman Road in the romans.
Even though they have added some of the smallest cities of Bulgaria, the signs are pretty accurate. No matter where you are in Bulgaria, all roads lead to Sofia.
I live in North Wales (Llandudno) and know those roads you are driving really well but lot's missing from the real drive of course, but never the less Great. I no nothing about "ProMods" so will have to look into it!.
SCS should do an Australian Simulator and promods can do New Zealand Possibly even Cook and Pacific islands. Also thank you for mentioning NZ. Fun fact there are more sheep in NZ than people

Have they ever added in the A66(W) through Penrith towards Whitehaven or the A6 heading towards Kendal? I truck on those roads regularly for Aldi and is one of my favourite drives in RL. The A6 is very challenging if you don't get your gearing right for the exhaust brakes, trailer weight will push you into a frenzy of speed.
I love how my school, my old workplace and where I do my shopping is in promods now 😂😂 just disappointed that Machynlleth doesn’t have the clock tower but ah well, it looks very good!

I'm from Penrhyndeudraeth about a mile from Porthmadog. Awesomely done it was quite quick from Dolgellau to Porthmadog . Only took you 30 seconds . It would be alot better in more detail😊 But i love how it looks . And you're right squirrel no skate park there in Port . Its a mini golf course 😊👍🏼
Alot of places in Wales speak 1st language Welsh all around the map you drove. Caernarfon, Bangor, Angelsey for example are Welsh speaking only. It's the counties that border England that are mainly English speaking.
I was just in Croatia there are some really insane roads further down the coast from split hopefully they will be added in the future. Also, Longyearbyen is literally in English it's pronounced "long year" and then byen but just say the Y a little slower and then you got it.
I've been on the road going from Fishguard up to Caernarfon loads of times and there has been countless accidents and alot of deaths sadly. By the way Fishguard isn't even in Promods the place that's called Fishguard is actually called Goodwick so a little mistake from Promods. I partly agree with you most of the new road is accurate but a few places I think I haven't seen this before and I have been on the road loads and loads of times. The majority of it is very realistic. Adding more towns onto Anglesey would be great.
I'd like a complete redo of Birmingham. Only cus I live there. Dropping something off in a place that it noticeably Digbeth or something would be kinda cool.
As a Pembrokeshire Town such as Fishguard do they have Pembroke Dock on the map? Wales/Pembrokeshire is very popular for tourists from all over the world. There is one other Country that speaks welsh other than wales and that is Patagonia

John Hooper yeah the touches like the railway crossing the road at Porthmadog are really accurate

I've just come back from snowdonia camping in dolgam for a week. Stunning place weather was really windy broke to tent poles.
They did a great job on the road signs and little details like the correct road markings for bus stops.
As Greek i can't wait for you to get us to Greece on twitch.

Pretty much. Don't let the game auto update, pick and choose your moments. Keep a backup save which you save to regularly to be on the safe side.

I live in North Wales (Llandudno) and know those roads you are driving really well but lot's missing from the real drive of course, but never the less Great. I no nothing about "ProMods" so will have to look into it!.

Have they ever added in the A66(W) through Penrith towards Whitehaven or the A6 heading towards Kendal? I truck on those roads regularly for Aldi and is one of my favourite drives in RL. The A6 is very challenging if you don't get your gearing right for the exhaust brakes, trailer weight will push you into a frenzy of speed.
Now I just hope they add the A44 and A470 to cut through Mid Wales, so you don't need to keep having to take the whole route.
A east/west road through mid Wales is planned :)

I love how my school, my old workplace and where I do my shopping is in promods now 😂😂 just disappointed that Machynlleth doesn’t have the clock tower but ah well, it looks very good!

I'm from Penrhyndeudraeth about a mile from Porthmadog. Awesomely done it was quite quick from Dolgellau to Porthmadog . Only took you 30 seconds . It would be alot better in more detail😊 But i love how it looks . And you're right squirrel no skate park there in Port . Its a mini golf course 😊👍🏼

Alot of places in Wales speak 1st language Welsh all around the map you drove. Caernarfon, Bangor, Angelsey for example are Welsh speaking only. It's the counties that border England that are mainly English speaking.

I was just in Croatia there are some really insane roads further down the coast from split hopefully they will be added in the future.
Also, Longyearbyen is literally in English it's pronounced "long year" and then byen but just say the Y a little slower and then you got it.
The area around Makarska and Dubrovnik will be spectacular

I've been on the road going from Fishguard up to Caernarfon loads of times and there has been countless accidents and alot of deaths sadly. By the way Fishguard isn't even in Promods the place that's called Fishguard is actually called Goodwick so a little mistake from Promods.
I partly agree with you most of the new road is accurate but a few places I think I haven't seen this before and I have been on the road loads and loads of times. The majority of it is very realistic. Adding more towns onto Anglesey would be great.
It's sad that the new euro truck won't work with it the same . The new promods update will require the Italia dlc

As a Pembrokeshire Town such as Fishguard do they have Pembroke Dock on the map? Wales/Pembrokeshire is very popular for tourists from all over the world. There is one other Country that speaks welsh other than wales and that is Patagonia
