There is a lot! You need to get a feeling about it. You will get the feeling by doing speedruns or Lowman, there are so many weapons you could use for a speedrun and may you have 0,1% advantage with the meta, but you could use a different little worse weapon and you are still able to get a new wr or just complete the low man. What does it help you to own meta weapons if you don’t know how to use these and where to use these weapons?

I liked the Ghorn/rocket meta, it felt semi balanced. Higher chance to kill yourself, nuking your overall damage, less reserves and no crit bonus but with the pro of the best possible damage in game.
Considering dps is done highly inside a well, and youd be using filler weapons with some type of autoloading rocket, i think most of the cons you mentioned are dampened and rockets on dps rankings were mostly untouchable. On the other hand, I think rockets are still the best option on the upper end but you need somewhat skill (timing and swap rotation) while other weapons are at a ease of use with less damage (levi breath, xeno, thunderlord etc) so i think the current sandbox is quite balanced and other weapons have a good chance especially to casuals
I'd like to see some in-depth Cascade Point data. I want to get it on the new Trials of Osiris grenade launcher but I don't know if it's better or has a more niche use over bait and switch. I know that bait and switch is very good, and it will make for a great DPS weapon, and that grenade launchers haven't necessarily been the top DPS meta for a while (as far as I know with my limited knowledge of the end game meta).
@@TheAegisRelicpaired with stuff like Malfeasance you still have almost endless ammo and can always apply the perk. It’s a bit sad that no Exo heavy can match the dps output of Cascade point GLs (especially void ones). They’re just too strong.
I had a question that's not really been answered other than as a throwaway. What's the best rotation for Titans? Realistically they have the best braindead underleveled content neutral game in bonk, but the worst DPS swap due to lack of auto reload options.
In regards to triple swapping, I notice a lot of your Double Specials aren't really big on ad clears. What recommendations do you have to use during ad clearing before swapping, other specials, specific ammo mods, etc? or are you ad clearing with your abilities and keeping those on the whole time?
If you're able to do it w abilities, do abilities. You can switch one of your shotguns before DPS. Specials have decent transition rates (or you memorize the location or bricks)
abilities(arc hunter, solar warlock and titan) or forbearance, swapping between specials barely takes away your ammo, its only heavy weapons that lose large chunks of reserves
Is it still the case that adaptive frame rockets have less reserve ammo than other rocket archetypes such as aggressive frames? I remember this being a concern with hothead vs cold comfort besides just bait and switch?
could you potentially take a look at swords now? since the cooldown procks in your pocket now they may have some swapportunities. I been running crown splitter w/ en garde cause its a lot of fun but want to know if it's even viable or just throwing
So I've got a wilderflight with auto vorpal but implosion rounds instead of spike, while I have an empty vessel with spike auto but demo instead of vorpal. Would I be better off using the empty vessel with apex since it's got the surge match or use the wilderflight even though it's missing spike?
Just on napkin math surge matching vessel will be better, assuming reload+firerate are the same (i'm just unaware if they're different) and ignoring surge your wilderflight will do ~13%-25% more damage (closer to 25% if you have implosion rounds). So worst case your vessel with surge makes them do the same damage but with the benefits of demo. lightweight: 12.6k lightweight + spike: 14.1k-15.7k double fire: 15.4k double fire + vorpal: 17.7k

I kinda feel like outside of jank melee mechanics, titans seem to have way less tools during a damage phase than hunters and warlocks. Like, hunters and warlocks both have incredibly strong instant reloads and ranged damage supers, and nice things like ophdians and well for warlock and star eaters to give hunters the highest damage in the game. Meanwhile, titans have excellent core neutral game options, but I can’t think of anything a titan can really do with guns during a damage phase that a hunter or warlock don’t do better. I really enjoy pushing the amount of damage I can do in a damage phase, and that compounded with titans not being able to skate makes the class kinda less fun for me. Obviously everything in this video is about squeezing out every last percent possible, it’s just unfortunate that titans don’t have as much going for them.
Couple questions for shotgun swapping DPS as the Tractor user: Is it worth it to swap between all 3 shotguns throughout the DPS phase, or should I just swap between the two lightweights until they run out and I have to reapply Tractor? Also, what Surge mod setup is optimal? Currently I'm not using Tractor in the DPS rotation, so I'm running 2 Kinetic and 1 Solar.
