Nice, your back to that neat mine again.I never got to make it up Island to see that one yet.I've been told that its a good hike to get to it.Very impressive displays of bornite there ! I've seen a good amount of mines below the Sicker group ones though.
I will say this! Ive never watched a video that was so visually informative on the sulfides, the other minerals, host rock, the list goes on! This video was a little wild with the camera. But the slows of the minerals and samples, that is this mineral, this is that mineral. Wow, that is the most awesome geological lesson I've ever watched!!!!! Bravo!
Justin,I feel your pain with Mosaic.😒 This amalgamation of Timberwest and Island Timber with new management has really tightened up access. It is frustrating to say the least. Not to mention the ministry of mines removing placer inventory really stinks as well. 😡 I would think that if you gave them notice of access 8 days prior and went through an open gate and were then locked in they should have to cover any expenses to unlock the gate to let you out. Whatever came of the bridge material that was removed? Or are you not concerned about it?
That's what we figure if they lock it on us we did our due diligence so it's on them. Luckily they didn't....the bridge is still there the materials still there all logging is shut down and I don't see anything being done about it they aren't even moving there lumber. There is easily 1000 truck loads of lumber that have been sitting there for 7 months.....well maybe a bit less now seems everyone is helping themselves to firewood lol
As I was watching small chunks flying I thought, I sure hope they have a tarp catching that stuff and just then your note came up. Thank you for describing the colors in your hand close up. (:
Agreed! I was thinking the same thing, but then, I kinda figured they been round long enough to be prepared for stuff like that, just like the heavier hammer and the cold chisel they brought this time. (~_^)-b
I think he said it was Air Force property, he has access rights, but its up to them to open gate for him. So yah prob not a good idea to put own chain on it if its government stuff.
About time that company gave yall access!!!! Well worth the wait it looks like!? Get a pump and hoses, and an extendable ladder for the stope. Be safe as aways yall.
That sucks that company is taking forever to get you gate access. Lots of free miners have gotten the runaround, or the ligging company want 2k for key deposit. The back roads should be for all of us to use.
Agreed, plus they are technically not allowed to impede access. We are willing to pay gate deposit, we have liability insurance and the works for whatever the new forest management company takes a 100 years. We submitted a work plan, application and they said they are backed up and it would take 12 weeks, that was in march of this year. Then after almost 5 months waiting and constant nagging they said they would look into it and they never got back. Sent about 5 more emails since then and no reply except someone saying it was getting delt with....but never did. Not much you can do when your fighting with big money....
@@911mining i hear you...don't foeget too that a lot of these logging companies are huge American corporations. What about the mining act stating you are to be able to use roads? Or have access to them? Maybe its time to contact John Horgan and tell him that your rights to mine, and access your claim are being denied. The squiky wheel gets the grease. You could also seek an injunction. At civil law you also have loss, claim of damages for loss. The company was also negligent...failed in their duty to allow you access per your freeminer license and claim...as a result you have loss. But get legal advice for that.
@@911mining So what would happen if you came across it and people inside working it? Would police actually come? Perhaps why the gate access was not granted..someone double dipping selling claim?
Very dramatic ending,911, with the hammer toss...might want to continue in future videos as your signoff piece....cooler than putting your hand in front of the camera lens!
YOU GUYS ARE JUST TOO MUCH FUN TO LEARN FIELD GEOLOGY FROM. YOUR BETTER CAMERA AND YOUR ATTENTION TO POINTING OUT THE DIFFERENT MINERALS...YOU GUYS ARE UNSURPASSED. AND YOU ARE PROLIFIC PRODUCERS OF THESE FILMS TO BOOT. YOUR PARENTS DID AN OSCAR-WINNING JOB RAISING SUPERB YOUNG MEN.
It's just sad that you people continue the quest for gold in our ancestors land. Original Native people of Anahuac, thought of gold and silver as an adornment, not with monetary value. After you people pollute the earth with the chemicals to extract the gold and silver, you will have tainted the surrounding land and contaminate the water table, thus polluting the crops and vegetation. You can eat and drink the gold and silver, no?
That makes no sense. If a deposit of say arsenopyrite hosting gold is in the ground its already in the groundwater table. Have you ever tried drinking mineralized arsenic water or water running through iron sulfides..water running through a deposit you wouldn't want to and drain off is going to happen no matter what. If your mining and environmentally safe most of the time the environment is better off after you reclaim it.. Also im not sure who Anahuac is, those definitely aren't the original people of this land. Most deals in mining are run through first nations consults in Canada or they dont get done. Also I see your making this comment on either a computer or mobile device 🤔 hmmm seems to me gold and silver is needed to make those devices. Unless your wanting civilizations to go back to how it was 10000 years ago you need mining and exploration. Plain and simple sorry.
@@911mining you are absolutely correct. The Canadian mining industries have created havoc for the Original Native population in areas of the mines. These resources were the property of the people. So much volcanism in your areas past! Amazing!
Love it ! Can't wait for the next one. Cool seeing how they chased that.

Carry a length of chain and your own lock and insure your access, don't forget the bolt cutters or the disc grinder.

Dustin, I had Weyco lock the gate on me before it was time so I used my No.30-06 gate key and it worked perfectly.
Lol, guess that works! we have a grinder with 5x battery life in case we feel the center needs a few notches removed too 😉
We had barite and barite crystals in one of our claims just south of the border with you guys.
Nice how far from the border. There's some nice prospects on this side for sure.
Cool tunnels!
So what are the assays? How many ounces per ton would that be
At 5:20 ..... that's a big spider ......
cool vid really enjoyed this great stuff
Cool, thanks. I’m watching (:
Awesome video ! looks like a cordless hammer drill is on Santa's list for this year !
Good.
Was the green stone Emerald ?
Green = Copper Just oxidized.
nice
911 your was smart to keep his Olight handy and on while in the mine!....
"your partner was smart"....; get Pioneer Pauly for the dive....but! Clear yet
Might also have some toxic/ unknowns dissolved within.
That looks like there's plenty left to go at ... particularly with more modern mining techniques.
Wait till you see the upper adit 👍😉
Have a lock pick best thing getting out of locked gates.. Lol just saying..
i want one, one what ? a mine.

Looks to me like someone has been working that mine lately.
It does the upper area has been cleaned and waste rock moved to the back. Seems like others may have been removing a few samples from our mine
