Some of those cactus are weird looking Erick, it never ceases to amaze me how plants just survive in extreme conditions. The clouds on the mountains don't look real. Gorgeous skies. You sure that numbness never came from imbibing too much at the winery? 🙂 Those waves are a force of nature, because...They're a force of nature???🙂 It always fascinates me how wildlife gets onto an island that was formed from volcanic material. One day empty sea...The next molten rock, then in time an island I get how plants get there, seeds travel in the wind or in birds poop, but lizards? There's a place in West Wales called Llangrannog, the roads are very similar to those you traversed. At the bottom there's a sandy beach and caves.. Except for the green areas, that terrain reminds me a LOT of 3 lovely weeks I spent on Ascension Island back in my Navy daze! 42 inactive volcanoes (wikipedia says 44 - I must have missed a couple) packed into a rock roughly 3 miles by 6 miles (I measured it on the radar when arriving - the locals claim it's 36 square miles - counting mountain sides I guess) & topped by Green Mountain with its tropical rain forest at the top - about the only vegetation on the island, and 3 lenticular clouds that take turns raining on the mountain.
3:25 The slope isn’t that bad. I say this as someone who was in the passenger seat on the way down while both me and the driver were tired because of stargazing related lack of proper sleep.
True. I've been places with high ups and downs. But the twists and turns are pretty crazy. It was more the abrupt suddenness of having to go down a steep grade and not being able to see where you were going.

That does sound similar, of course it would. Many of the islands in the pacific and atlantic oceans are volcanic islands.
