I loved following your all workouts Chris because of you we are all energetics. Lots of love to your hardwork❤️
Was waiting for this kind of video....thank you so much guys!!! I appreciate it 😊
Great stretching warm-up with all the movements. I followed it very gently but it gave me results beyond my expectations
This is not a warmup but primarily a stretching session. Therefore, most of the exercises shown here should be done after a workout. Anyone with a fitness background should already know it goes: warmup, training, and then stretching. Stretching before a workout can even limit your performance and gains. And if you think that after those last 'warmup' exercises you would be ready to safely do a handstand, muscle-ups, or even a planche, be prepared for your arms to pop out like a Playmobil
right, because you can do a planche yourself?
@@beebble2048 I do and he is right, when warming up, dynamic movements are key and this clearly stretches out the muscles which will lead to injuries overtime. You'll have to do specific warmups for the movements you want to learn. Going for easier variations, isolating the muscles that are recruited in the final position and giving enough volume to your joints and tendons without killing yourself beforehand. The idea is to lower the gap between the start of the workout where your mind and body is disconnected in a way and the intensity afterwards that will be needed to perform a certain movement mentally and physically.
How can you tell whether something is stretching or a warmup?
@@lakeman1966Staying in an isometric position while searching for max range of motion is a stretch. Dynamic stretching can be considered as a warmup. However here he combine both which isn’t ideal. The other issue that the first comment pointed out is that it clearly isn’t enough of a warmup to then jump for movements that applies a strong pressure on joints and tendons. +max stretch on muscles when performing gymnastics type moves
@@alexisferrenbach Ohhh, thanks for the enlightenment!
Thanks bro. I'm looking out for calisthenics to impress my calisthenics friends and to be their part of the group. You're the best!

Erik Barsis two finger planche is out of this world🔥🔥😎
best reoutines with chris heria!
The knowledge here is heavy. Good stuff brother!
Definitely gonna implement this
We need a video on how to get stronger bones
Yes
45 seconds of downing a liter of milk with a 15 second breather
Well, bones aren't consistently strong everywhere at every moment. It's crazy but it works relatively similar to the non Newtonian fluid (its a very very resumed explanation).
When you workout, the bones that are more used in the movements that you are doing will get eventually stronger.
A great example of this is a professional boxer. Their arm bones can endure a lot more pressure than a normal person's bones can :)
@@ethandd8351I know you’re joking, but contrary to popular belief milk isn’t that great a source of calcium. A few almonds would do you better.
drink milk?
Definitely have to try this 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. I always feel better after a mobility routine!
Workingout is still most possibilities with lots of energy
nice mobility routine!
I always like to switch the way I do my warm ups. This one is a hell of a good one. Thx.
Sorry to say but this is not a warmup routine its stretchin although it doesnt allow body to warmup by this ALSO It helps in HS
Let’s go. Insane workout and mobility. I love that. You’re a beast Chris. I love you so much. I hope one day in my life i’ll meet you.
Letsssss gooooooo another banger
Hey chris
I m currently 14 year old training since 4 months but still want a complete 7 day workout plan which I can repeat every week for lifetime and become fitter and stronger each week . Basically I want a complete calisthenics routine of a week including when to rest, how to do calisthenics without any equipment and plzzzz make workout less than 30 minutes each day . Also 1 more request plzz include warm-ups and stretching.
Waiting for yr nxt 7 calisthenics videos ❤❤
I was thinking dynamic stretching before workout and static stretching post workout. Heard doing vice versa causes injury ??
Tried this routine just now. My muscle ups feel much stronger!
So can i do this instead of my warmup???
@urvilpanchal2893 yes if you're doing upper body work plus you have activation exercises after the mobility for the wrists, elbows and shoulders.
This video says “stretching/mobility builds muscle faster” but other very popular “science based” channels say “stretching/mobility ‘kills gains’”
Which “fact” is “truth?”
Thanks!
Thanks Chris 💙✌🏼
Needed this for stretching
Finally Chris can take a rest just for one clip and let Erik do the hard work! Chris is so humble btw, always ready to learn new stuff and challenge himself! Erik is goated!
Gotta add this to my routine before every heavy workout
Hey Chris
noti gang.. lets goo!!
I've heard that stretching before workout will lower your strength. I've been told that by a climber here in Bulgaria, but don't know if it is true or not. (I'm in sports climbing since like 2010 i guess).
As far as I know stretching a muscle for more than 10 seconds relaxes the muscle which reduces it's performance, so stretching for more than 10 seconds should happen after the workout. stretching less than 10 seconds per excercise should be good though
Is it possible to get some follow along routines like for the 20 minutes core routine but for the Planche and L-Sit? Maybe with different levels too. Only saw how to tutorials where just some examples were like a follow along routine. But never the entire video with the timer and break time.
chris can you do a forearm workout for the next ones?
Bro is a god
Don't compare a mere human being to GOD, you insect.
excellent
Thank you!
Awesome video, gonna start stretching tomorrow ❤
One for my list of material thx.
Chris can you give us a workout challenge to do for 60days, how many reps to do and the times, it’s hard for me to choose what workout to do for each day
Great video thanks ❤
I personally don't recommend doing this before any workout. These are mainly static stretches, which have been proven to decrease athletic perfomance, and increase risk of injury. You can still make amazing use of these stretches! But only use them after a workout.
AWESOME !!!
This seems great post workout but everyone knows static stretching reduces strength output, so not great before a session. This is not mobility work, they are stretches, there is a huge difference; mobility activates the muscles, stimulates blood flow and lubricates joints, tendons, connective tissue... these just lengthen everything and turn you into spaghetti before you even start training.
We need a video on how to turn back the clock twenty years
Nah this is goated i was looking for a pre workout thanks bro
Its a very good stretching routine, but its not a warmup for a strengthworkout this should be a cooldown at the end of a workout, I have always heard that static stretching should not be done as warmup
incorporating these Asap
Waiting for Chris to learn two finger planche 🔥🔥🔥
Thanx!
Thank you THNX
You are the best coach of the world sir 😈
Which can change everyone's life
Hai cris I'm from Indonesia and often watch your videos to learn sports from home, I want to ask how to increase push up repetitions without progress,And it's very difficult to increase the repetitions, hopefully this will be answered, thank you
Last time you injured right I know bro you try well do your best bro 😊
Learned to do warmups every time I start a workout a hard way. Jumped straight into front lever and something in my elbow felt off, then I heard a loud "click" and though that I dislocated it for good. It wasn't smth serious, but it felt scary not gonna lie. Do your warmups and don't bother looking silly in front of others
looking silly? are you 12? fucking every athlete warms up
Let’s goo
Going to start doing these before my workouts...💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻..
Thank you
Can we have this routine in thenx
Is this routine good for long term flexibility? Like doing it everyday, Or is it more focused on loosening up pre-workout only?
i rather do mobility after the workout to stretch the muscles. Before the workout i would do normal warm ups.
what is a normal warm up?
Damnnnnnn lessgooo
Can we do this for cooldown also
bro is a unite
gets me buff
Mobility should not be neglected!

This looks more of a passive stretching routine, isn t the active stretching before training?
Word. This is static stretching. Don't we need more of a dynamic type?
