Yo John. I think a cool way to grow your channel would be to help out a struggling racer(s) with set up and tuning. Bring one to your shop or track with a budget and goal in mind and get them to that goal in a weekend(if possible). You know a lot of young dudes are struggling due to a general lack of knowledge and confidence.
@@dustin6342 yeah I've been struggling too. Got into racing after 20 years of family life. Now I need to know some stuff like gearing torque converters stators transmission ratio. You know the drill
One consideration to try is lowering the front bolt of the bottom bar one hole (.75”) to extend the IC a little further and make the lower bar closer to level. That will low anti-squat closer to 100% so it won’t upset the sidewall of the slick and give a little more squat as the weight transfers to the rear. Increase the compression to prevent the shock from bottoming out. Good luck as you said trying different things to see what works.
I've been watching for a long time and I watch a bunch of racing channels. I finally went to look up "heigth" y'all say it all the time. I've never heard a Canadian saying heigth, I've always said height my whole life. I learn all kinds of stuff watching y'all videos. 👍🏻🤣
A good show, thank you. I was thinking about your car pulling a little wheelie at the last race and when you slow it down frame by frame it looks to unsettle the car a bit, not a lot, but it'd be enough for me to want to tune that out of it. Normally I'd put the front of the bottom bar up, but if you're sure your backends where you want it I'd slow the front extension up a bit. Just a thought. Keep up the good work...
John did you get a chance to look at some of the dynamics(launch) with the new adjustment. Ride heights vs some extension front and rear and weight bias change can move it quite a bit on unequal length bars. I use Performance Trends but you can still play with the generic calculators
That calculate is very in accurate yIt does not take into account the distance off center your hiems are from the axle center point on the housing you should use tin Soldiers
Your front is going to want to lift a good amount more than before. If you can go straight with your front tires just skimming the track you will be fast. Can it go straight is the question. Also did you work on the front shocks to gain the 2-3 inches of more travel with your wheel control readjusted would be very good. Be safe good luck...
@@bigboreracing356 In his video TJ said he wanted to go from 40 out to 61 or so. That would make the front come up more easily when you move the IC out. As far as the 2-3 inches more front travel TJ said he was thinking about moving the shock plates and spacers I was asking if he had the time to do what he was thinking about. Reread it no advice given only questions armchair Bozo
Wrong princess. Bozos like you need to be on the same page when giving advice. Had you paid attention to the video you would have learned all cars are different. TJ is simply blowing smoke up you we Todds butts because he knows you armchair quarterbacks cant help but show how smart you think you are and that helps his channel😆🤣😅
Hey John, I'm in the same predicament but I'm in Chicago so it's much colder. What kind of fuel is that little heater running? Is that kerosene and how are the fumes for that? Do you need to ventilate your space? I'm not sure. Haven't read up on the topic
It’s kerosene. It’s not bad. This little garage is 20x20 or so and it heats it good in about 15min. You can smell it, I’m but it’s not terrible at all. It also can run diesel. Don’t run diesel, it smells a lot worse! They make them for propane too.
John showing with the heater what it's like for a good chunk of us in the real world. 💪🏼🇺🇸🦅

What makes you think TJ has not tried different bar angles?
Armchair quarterbacks need to watch the videos and keep quiet.

Center of gravity formula we use. Take rear or front weight percentage and times it by the wheel base. Then measure from said back or front wheel hubs
TJ LETTT the heat roll. It's cold here in VA.
LETS GO!

Another armchair quarter back said the bar needs to be level.
You guys that think you have a clue are simply we Todds😆🤣
Comment for the algorithm.... keep em coming TJ
What’s up man. Hope to see ya soon! Congrats on y’all’s win.
@TurboJohnRacing thanks hope to race with you soon!!!!
Need the 5 ton jack stands in the rear with all the weight back there
O and uncle Raccoon said the snow is coming your way. Turbo John.
Could flip the shock mount

Never mind. Just got a chance this week's tech talk😅

The Raccoons appreciate the information, where are the Wire NUTS? Just asking for a friend!

Another armchair quarterback giving inconsistent advice.
You we Todds should read the comments so you can see how clueless you sound.
😆🤣

how long are you upper and lower 4 link bars?
13 and 18
Suspension and bias changes on an unlevel floor..??
Seems to me like it wouldnt give you accurate numbers.
Tracks are not level.
Ohhhh, the TJ click bait is overwhelming 😂 and under performing
John doc is a tool.
