I just received mine, and tested it. I think it's playable for some relaxed games, but it's pretty noticeable. Using the mouse in windows, the image lags very noticeably. I'd say if you plan to to a lot of gaming on it, get another projector with less lag.
You said that it based on LED So does it means that it can have burning issues like in LED TVs? If you have same image a lot of time can it cause to burn the image?
Hi, I recently bought this projector and I'm confused whether to buy a 4k tv stick to use with this. Do I get any sort of benefits of the 4k input from the tv stick?
No, the projector can only display HD and needs to calculate 4K down to hd. Don’t buy a 4K stick for this projector, buy an hd one. But an 4K stick will also work
if the soundbar has bluetooth you can use that and connect the firestick via the hdmi input! the speakers on this projector are pretty impressive so you might not need a soundbar!
I hesitate to point you in either direction not having seen the Epson 1069 in person. I can say that the P40 is on sale at the moment and is a great value. For the price, it performs well in a light-controlled room.
I've had this projector for a couple of months, and I love it. I did have some issues with the auto-focus in the beginning. It was set to auto-focus when powering on every time, but sometimes it just didn't focus properly. It took me a while to figure out I could get it focused once and then turn that feature off. It also took me way too long to figure out where the color menu was. My main complaint with it is that there doesn't seem to be a feature to automatically shut it off after a short time when it's not getting a signal. It has a timer feature in the power menu, which appears to function as a sleep timer, but you're only allowed to set it for up to an hour. Am I missing something?
Hi StillBlue, first of all thanks for the amazing review! I was curious to but it, it would be my first project, so I have some newbie questions: - Do you think it would still be watchable on a white wall instead of a projector screen? - What is the distance in meters between projector and screen that you used in this example? Also what would be the maximum and minimum distance that this projector could reach without compromising too much the quality of a 120''' display
Thank you very much. In my opinion, it would be fine on a white wall. But, if at all possible, budget permitting, definitely get a projector screen. In my review, the projector is roughly 14 feet from the screen. That should translate to a little over 4.25 meters. Projector Central has a handy calculator on their site. For a 120” screen, they recommend a distance of just over 12 feet. So, anywhere between 12 to 14 feet should work.
Great review, how would you say it handles skin tones? Just got a similarly spec'd Vizony RD830 and clarity, brightness are great, colors are good but skin tones come out almost flat with no detail. This also does not have as many image settings as the Apollo to dial in the picture. Thinking of returning and getting an P40.
Thank you! Skin tones were as good as I expected for the price. Nothing struck me as being off--considering its a budget projector. If its needling you, if you can, try the Ultimea, see how it compares and keep the one you want.
Hello. Thanks for your review. Do you know if: 1. Does this projector play from the USB port x265 10bit files? 2. Does It plays srt. subtitles with all European characters (like Ç, Á, Õ etc)?? 3. It's possible to change the subtitles size and colour?
Great review thank you but I have a question does this projector support 220 volt electricity
I hear the gaming input lag is bad on this projector according to a different tuber?

Clear and concise review, thanks.
Excellent. Thank you.
Great review of a good budget product 👌
Much appreciated!
Would you recommend that one for watching sport events in the garden in summer evenings ?
Does it decodes 4k at 60fps?

How can i use a Soundbar and an fire tv Stick at the Same Time with one HDMI?
if the soundbar has bluetooth you can use that and connect the firestick via the hdmi input! the speakers on this projector are pretty impressive so you might not need a soundbar!
Can you please tell me the distance between screen and projector?
The Ultimea was about 14 feet from the screen in this review.
Thank you!
What is better? Buying an older 1080p Epson 1069, or this? Price is comparable

Where can I find the color Menu?

@@stillbluehometheater1056 perfect, thank you very much!
12-14 ft? I thought this was a short throw projector no?
Can you get apps on the projector? Like now tv, Netflix, Disney plus and prime? Or do you have to airplay for this projector?
You can airplay, miracast or use some other external streaming device.
Is there no way to screw the projector onto a tripod?
Yes, there is.
What's with the input lag for gaming?
@@hanschenklein7990 thank you❤️ I couldn't find that anywhere else
