Of course not every song needs to be a one hit wonder, and thoes who love this type of stuff probably love this song but holy crap is it just distorted earrape to thoes of us unprepared for it. Almost feel like there should be a noise warning or song style noted in the title as a precaution! But don't let myself or others stop yall from making great music.
@@fallenraven13g because S3RL clearly likes them? You people just gotta accept this simple fact - even if you hate something, even if you consider it only a noise, taste is subjective and your opinion isn't the one true reality.
Nahhh man I'm with the negative comments. Its fine to wanna be positive and supportive, but sometimes something is just not good quality and this remix falls under that. Just because you call something your "style" doesn't mean its a good one lol.
I think the problem with the collab in this song is the fact that when the GPF part starts, it feels like an entirely different song that drowns out any semblance of the original Pika Girl. Looking back on Come Inside and Cum Say Henlo, the GPF parts are still harsh, but follow the song better and still have parts of the original songs incorporated in them, which they don't in this remake collab. I think it would have been better for the GPF tone to match the Pikachu voice since that's the last tone you hear before it, instead of the high pitch reverb sound we get that clashes so harshly with the original song. I also think it would have been cool to incorporate GPF a little better story-wise such as making GPF's parts seem like a corrupted game file and have MissingNo flash on screen. As it stands currently, it just doesn't have enough of a fluidity or mesh between the styles to be a good listen.
I will add as well, I was excited for this remake cause Pika Girl was my first S3RL song, but the moment the GPF part came on I literally recoiled and said, "That isn't music, that's just noise". Putting in harsh beats is one thing, but drowning out the entire semblance of the song with a speaker-breaking bass-boosted beat to the point you lose the entire tempo and rhythm? It disappointed me thoroughly.
@@LordFoogThe2st_ What I heard in this song was not uptempo my friend, that's why I called it "Noise". I'm so happy that you realeased a remix of one your old and best songs!! I discovered the original version in 2016. I love the eletronic singing voice, it sounds so old school, it gives nostalgia! It's so cool to give another life to an old song, even if it will never be forgotten!
original infinitely better now for the constructive criticism people have been talking about firstly, this doesnt have all the lyrics, the point of this song is a joking song about a humanoid pokemon, the song is for the story/lyrics hence the name to remove some of that element for annoying ass noise ruins the whole purpose i could stop there but theres also the fact that the first shitstorm this guy made at like 1 minute in was so random and just not good in positioning, obviously too much predictability is bad but the transition from the normal shit to that is just annoying and my final point is the abruptness of the start and end there was no little beat from the start it was little tune then lyrics straight away which S3RL never does or if he does it he at least does it well or uses the voices he sampled as part of the beat (such as Ready For Love where it instantly starts with the vocal then he uses part of it ("I'm ready") with the beat)

My soul love this song, my ears no😅
I can't hear anymore
Well, I thought I'd just listen to one song before I put my phone down for the night and go to sleep. Guess who's not tired any more!
Had to check the description to understand the joke
Why can't I stop laughing at the description
edit: also this song is really good, GPF is slowly growing on me through these collabs
this entire remix feels like pikachu electrifying our ears until they start bleeding
the art makes this worse too-
LET THEM COOK!!! I loved s3rl in my younger days but ever since I started raving my taste have expanded and changed. Love it! Take that happy out and keep it hardcore 😈
It’s literally earrape!!!
the art is so unhinged lol, love it
its so palletable, then gpf starts playing... i just cannot vibe with gpf
I'm so happy that you realeased a remix of one your old and best songs!! I discovered the original version in 2016. I love the eletronic singing voice, it sounds so old school, it gives nostalgia! It's so cool to give another life to an old song, even if it will never be forgotten!
I LOVE U S3RL BEST DJ OF THE WORLD
TANO-C ?? Deco ?? 😮
Nah, i prefer the first one.
original infinitely better
now for the constructive criticism people have been talking about
firstly, this doesnt have all the lyrics, the point of this song is a joking song about a humanoid pokemon, the song is for the story/lyrics hence the name to remove some of that element for annoying ass noise ruins the whole purpose
i could stop there
but theres also the fact that the first shitstorm this guy made at like 1 minute in was so random and just not good in positioning, obviously too much predictability is bad but the transition from the normal shit to that is just annoying
and my final point is the abruptness of the start and end there was no little beat from the start it was little tune then lyrics straight away which S3RL never does or if he does it he at least does it well or uses the voices he sampled as part of the beat (such as Ready For Love where it instantly starts with the vocal then he uses part of it ("I'm ready") with the beat)
Its called uptempo. And the part you dont like isnt a very liked genre, but to the ones that do like it (I am part of it) it hits hard. The part you dont like isnt even made by S3RL its made my GPF.
Yeah, the earrape feels out of place; loved everything but that
RIP earphone users
coming from an uptempo producer although lesser known and less experienced, i agree its pretty sudden
