    I know people say you can’t get addicted to weed, but you can definatley become addicted to not being sober.

    • @toffietoff4570
      @toffietoff4570 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's more believed by many that, addiction is actually the want to reachieve the same feeling on the first high, and the first high that person felt amazing but it's an addiction through the intense amount of dopamine the drug or hobby produces. PC gaming is addicting has no drug chemicals in it. Nothing being eaten. Addictive still.. it's easy to achieve dopamine, when the mind finds am easy way to achieve dopamine, it repeats the known process to achieve more and the mind over time becomes numb to this and normalizes it so you don't realize it after a while. All addictive drugs really just create alot of dopamine easily and so the urge to re experience is there always.

    • @DDA532
      @DDA532 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Oba Instinct what makes you adictive then? Just asking not trying to make fun of your comment

    • @toffietoff4570
      @toffietoff4570 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@DDA532 the want, in your brain to achieve a dopamine hit.. the brain always attempts to achieve dopamine using 2 methods... physical stimulation (pain) or non physical stimulation (happy thoughts of pleasure like when you win a video game the feeling you get of achievement etc) its all there. That's a dopamine hit... your Bains objective is to achieve dopamine hits.... the easiest way possible.. when you can sit and be lazy all day and play a game.. achievement after achievement.. you lose your focus so time gets distorted since your focus isn't on time, after many years of this you have no true sense of time, your brains normalized the new reality like the movie click. Getting up to do anything becomes an excessive task you discovered happiness can be achieved from sitting all day motivation fades there the addiction. Trying to continuously re achieve the same happy feeling from the very first few gaming experiences you had or to bring back those childhood memories of Mario. Dopomines the addiction not nicotine.

    Namaste,
    Cannabis was a huge part of my awakening. The plant vibrates at a higher frequency than most people. it wakes you up and also tells you to quit. When our own vibration has increased through spiritual practice, then we'll vibrate higher than cannabis and it will no longer serve us. The old impression will be there most of the time and many who have quit will go back trying to enjoy it again but only to realise that it lowers their vibration. The same goes with other psychedelic plants. So raise your vibrations my friends and reach the state of oneness. God bless

      quake3quake3 this is exactly what happened to me. I feel like weed has served its purpose in my life, made me the person I am today and made me realize everything I have learned.After through going through a beautiful spiritual journey and reaching non-duality I feel this strange calling to stop smoking and begin my true purpose. I now have started my major in environmental policy and management and want to end the deception told about climate change and the horrors committed to our own people and planet. Stuff's insane...

      +Phrashee Kwerk cannabis is absolutely 100% non-addictive
      Cannabis is an extremely powerful substance. It needs a lot of research before you start getting involved with it.
      In fact there are very few serious smokers. Most who use it do so in conjunction with other drugs usually alcohol or amphetamines
      When I smoked I virtually never drank alcohol not in fifteen years.
      I don't in all honesty believe this guy: people who refer to getting high rarely are.

    I smoked weed for years because I was afraid to not have it. I felt that if I didn't have weed I was missing out, I was 'without'. I got paranoid, suspicious and was filled with anxiety when I began to run out. I hated handing over wads of cash to the dispensary and them acting as though they were doing me a big favor. Since Ive quit I don't miss it. I can breathe better, I have more cash, my thoughts are not paranoid (well no more than is normal) and I am having amazing dreams that I can't believe.

I had no intention of quitting and I had just renewed my medical marijuana certification card. I detoxed and learned breathing and practiced yoga. I took one hit after that and went into a very bad trip. I have not touched it again. My life is also changing now. My system is clean and I'm learning new skills. I still suffer from mental illness and I am an adult with autism as well as fibromyalgia, etc. But now Each day is new. Self control is very empowering. This guy rocks. @@20129010927831 Ay bro, I've been smoking it for like 10 years and selling it for like 13, I stopped selling it but... I smoke at least 2 times a week now (I used to smoke 5-10 grams per day), days come where I really need something to chill and I don't drink alcohol nor smoke cigarettes nor take drugs, so this puts me into the zone, specially for music.. But I am still trying to stop it, it's slow but I try every day. It's not like it's a big addiction like heroin but man.. this weed gets you so lazy and out of this world, I realized that my logic was so fucked up on weed, I wouldn't care about no jobs, I would find a job work for a week and then just don't come to work because I didn't care, and now when I think about it it's fucking dumb, and the main thing that I realized is that years PASSED SO QUICK while I was on weed, now everything seems slower and I have a whole day to do what I want and what I need, plus that, I found a great job, really really great job that wasn't even possible for me, and I'm more positive with my lyrics in my music. But that's what's happening to me, it might not be the same for some other people, I mean... snoop and wiz are like millionares and they smoke weed so... xD peace and love to you and I wish you all the best!

I pretty much resonate with everything youve said there...i found if someone was around me smoking it i couldnt give it up .. be it.. family friends and relationships but 9 days ago i just went for it.. the first couple of days were so hard, ive had night sweats, nightmares, abit of anxiety and im.waiting for more shit as nothing has calmed down lol. I went cold turkey but had a drink on the weekend and had a couple of roll ups.. (tobacco) now i know i cant drink as that involved smoking.. im super charged to just leave it behind my now and accept ive had my time with weed and its time.to move on... thoughts clearing up... socialising a bit more.. less brain fog... and i just know after goijg like a decade with the mentality "today is the day i give.up and start counting the days" and then going back n smoking and KNOWING if i have 1 toke i will think straight away what was the point i no longer even like the feeling it gives me alot of paranoia and self sabotaging thoughts... which i dont get when not smoking. I reckon its the skunk and stuff but still... im.tired of the feeling and living my life stoned .. its shit man i have so much potential and stuff i want to do in life its like wishing ya life away being stoned as like u say nothing gets done bro .. big up to your self for coming down off 5-10g thats a mad amount of smoke, id say 2g a day has done me.foe a long time but i hear u about the jobs the amount of 1 weeker jobs ive had cus i didnt give a shit... i hope the clarity of mind coninues and i done this while living with a smoker .. my mrs...so.its been difficult but just go for it mate 1 love 👌

    I have to say, I’m so grateful I came across this video. I wanted to smoke so so bad today but instead I went for a walk then went to the gym. So glad I didn’t give in after watching this video. Had I smoked I would have relapsed after 64 days! Again, Thank You so much for this video. Hearing your message reminded me of my goals and reasons for why I should not smoke. Thanks for uplifting my spirit and motivating me. I appreciate you my brother. Sending you much Peace & Love from Queens, New York.

    Wow dude, your passion and energy is infectious. You absolutely radiate positivity. As a young guy at a critical juncture in my life, you've just reaffirmed my decision to follow through and finally shake the habit. It's been two and half weeks cold turkey and the going has been tough, but I'm going to push through toward greener pastures and become more connected to this planet and discover my life's task. You're doing fantastic work out there and you should be immensely proud.

    Wow. This video is spot on. I’ve been smoking since the end of my freshman year in high school and I’m now a freshman in college. I’d say that I started to feel this way about smoking waaaaay earlier in the year. Yet I continued to smoke. Why? I literally have no idea, it got the point where I didn’t even enjoy smoking anymore and every time I did I regretted it. Yet I continued to smoke? I’ve been in the habit of smoking every day for so fucking long now and I’m just so tired of it. I absolutely believe that it’s hindering me from fulfilling my greatest potential. I’ve quit before but only for about 2 weeks at maximum. And because of this, I know for a fact that I feel 100% better and more ALIVE when I’m completely sober. As the days go on you start noticing more and more positive benefits from quitting and start to wonder why the hell you didn’t just quit earlier. I loved getting high when I first started smoking, but it’s completely different now. It’s nothing like how it used to be and IM nothing like how I used to be. So i’m making the decision to let it go for good. I don’t know if I’ll never smoke again in my LIFE, but I do know that I don’t even want to go near weed for a loooong long time. Giving weed up isn’t even something that’s difficult for me either. I’m perfectly fine when sober and don’t feel like I crave it or anything like that, the only reason why I’ve stuck to it for so long is because I’m just so USED to it. I’ve gotten into the HABIT. All of my friends smoke, my brother smokes, so I’ve always been around weed. It’s so easily accessible to me. But starting today, I’ve decided I’m done. Completely!! I can’t wait to start this journey and to see how much I change from it in the coming months, love this video, thank you for affirming everything that I’ve noticed from smoking the past 3-4 years. Wish me luck!

    After I learned to meditate, I smoked up exactly one time more. I had something better than weed to compare with getting high. And I became a vegetarian then, too, as I recall. "What is He not asking you to do, because you're not a decent tool for Him, because you're addicted to something that restricts your movements and your abilities, and your mental capabilities?" That is a gift question for me! Thank you, John.

    Love this video! It’s so true and so powerful... exactly what I needed to hear. I was clean from weed for a year and a half and I can’t even begin to explain how amazing it felt to be sober! My life changed in so many beautiful ways until 8 months ago when I fell off the wagon over a small craving. Little did I know it would bring me back to this stuck feeling...this feeling of knowing I am so much better but too obsessed with smoking to have the strength to pull myself out of it. This video has helped to show and remind me that the beautiful sober life I once lived in is still there and is truly a reach a way if I grab for it. I got this! Life is awesome! And I’m awesome :) thank you for making this video

    2 days clean so far. Started smoking at 13 now 25 years old. Father passed when I was 18 and I haven’t virtually had a single second of sobriety since the day he passed. He died of lung cancer from smoking too much. I feel evil when I smoke and I hope that my strength as well as this story will inspire people to not even begin smoking weed, or at least stop.

    The words you just spoke truly touched my heart. It brought me to tears to hear your story and how God never gives up on anyone no matter what situation you may be in. I truly believe that because you quit such a bad habit in your life God Blessed you with the strength you need to be able to see the purpose he put you on earth. I too seek this purpose. I have been smoking marijuana for 8 years and threw those 8 years of sitting I know God has always been with me but I was not truly accepting him because of my addiction. I am 3 days sober and I hope to find my purpose in life as you did. I’m very happy for you and the way God has guided you is very inspirational. I have tried many times to quit and have not been able too. This time around I believe I have the strength I need to finally quit.
