So you could go from 220V AC to 120V AC or the other way around, for example. An alternator is exclusively a device that converts mechanical energy into AC. This is different from a generator, which can do either AC or DC, or even both; and from a dynamo, which is similar to an alternator but produces DC only. We use alternators in cars because we don't have a supplied input current, but need to convert engine energy into an electrical current. The produced AC then needs to be converted(rectified) to DC for the car to use it, yet it's still more efficient this way, which is why we don't just use a dynamo! Nah it’s a gas engine, it just had diesel in the oil tank. You can find radiators with oil in them, oil cans with water in them, and other random fluids and mixtures of fluids that aren’t where they belong. Diluting the diesel with regular oil allowed the engine to run. It’ll be low on power without enough oil. Same thing when the fuel is contaminated. The engines never break, you just have to have the right amount of the proper fluids to run. The V8 engine full with undiluted regular oil, water and gas is FAST.

I typically avoid the “janky physics simulators” but gave this game a chance. It won me over because it’s fully self aware. When you use the mouse wheel to crouch as low as you can get, your head literally enters your pelvis. The developer knows exactly how stupid it is and loves it. But also, it turned out to be a pretty fun game… up to a point. Driving along, collecting replacement parts to make your car better and restoring the rusty ones that are already on it, or creating some Frankenstein of a vehicle (yes you can put a 400hp V8 in a moped) is enjoyable. Eventually though you run out of things to collect. You’ve filled your gas tank with a lucky stop at a beached oil tanker, gas is never hard enough to come by to worry about running out ever again… food and water are easy enough to get if you stay on the main road (don’t forget, you can drink the water in your radiator in a life or death emergency)… there just becomes very little incentive to keep playing before too long.
There's also a mountain biome and this game can get fairly pretty, considering its simplistic graphics. BTW I'd love to see this on a stream some time. Also, I have a tip. Gasoline engines can take quite a lot of alcohol without losing much performance and it's easy to find in those green bottles that you apparently never checked. Oh, and one more thing, there are busses in this game. If you're up for it, I'd love to see you, Dan and Matt come together for another roadtrip. But the goal in this game is to drive 5000 kilometers, so you're probably not going to finish it. Unless you're willing to do a 24 hour stream like Dan and Matt did for Flight Simulator.
