- Thanks for watching!
Sorry this video isnt exclusively about osu but it was the only video idea i had
at the moment lol. Also i know in the video ive technically played every single game that i tried before but like i said at the end theres not that many cheap/free popular rhythm games on pc so my options were limited
osu! profile - osu.ppy.sh/use...
ofc, it trains your rhythmic sense. My first rhythm game was piano tiles way back 7-8 years ago then my second one is osu. It helped me become more alert at things and improved my hand coordination and so i decided to try project sekai and phigros and surprisingly, i could consistently pass their hardest levels, albeit bad acc
HT is actually only 0.75x the normal speed on osu lmao
Just how like dt is 1.5x instead of 2x
oh yeah i forgot lol my bad
is ht not 0.66x?
@@akasakasvault7597 i think it is yeah
pretty enjoyable video brother
people were still using touchscreen back when that guy made the post complaining about it because pp for touchscreen plays had not been nerfed at that time (now its only something like half pp for plays using touchscreen)
oh interesting, i never knew that i guess i shouldve looked into it more!
rlly good video lad
would like to see you give some more arcade style rhythm games a try, like groove coaster wai wai party, sdvx exceed gear or beatmania IIDX INFINITAS. it'd be super interesting to see the perspective of a std player trying to get to grips with these games as opposed to a long time mania player like me that had a bit of a head start
thanks for the recommendations! if i make another video similar to this in the future i'll check them out :D
Tbf he has a lot of time on mania as well so he'll be decent at any other vsrg.
playing a rhythm game will help you with rhythm, and in turn make you better at other rhythm games
7 years ago touch screen was a problem and the first 900 pp play record was set by it with 78% acc. After that, it was nerfed.
yeah i didnt know that lol my bad, i didnt realize how old the post was at the time
i had this vise versa when was playing sound sapce+ which now is known as rythia, its usually a mouse only game and gave me way better mouse control and aim in other games including osu when i still played it
also i finally got an S on everything will freeze (30 diff) and next is everything will freeze II (32 diff) and my top play is a 31 which isnt diff
@@inevitablekones1820 oh nice! :D
@@Miu_32 upd 7 mon later i got a 99.1 acc on a 35.7 (fc) which is my new top play at 38.1 and my highest pass is a 38.7
@@inevitablekones1820 oh wow congrats, thats some awesome improvement!
Bro its crazy how they say osu isn’t a rhythm game because you can Get good scores with bad accuracy when beat saber doesn’t Even have accuracy.
lol, i wish i couldve tried out beatsaber in this since but unfortunately i dont own vr
I don't really consider beat saber a rhythm game but it's hard to know what else to call it when it's a game where you slice cubes timed to the rhythm of a song also there is accuracy, accuracy is how all of the scoring works in beat saber
The answer to that is yes, depending on what osu!gamemode you play
For me it was mania, as a mania 5 digit (#68,778) I've seen improvement in myself on other rhythm games too such as Quaver or Etterna.
I'll be watching this video in it's fullest as I stopped at 5 seconds to comment this, any edits I make to this comment will be after watching the video.
cool! :D originally i was gonna try etterna in this video too but didnt want there to be more than one vsrg cause i thought it might get boring
ok but etterna and quaver are like the same game, you should compare it to something like sdvx, popn, phigros, o2jam (if you only play 4k), and stuff like that which you havent done to see if it helps. for me it seems to give me a slight starting edge but it isnt THAT meaningful
@@nadavvvv true
@@nadavvvv Why are you sitting here trying to say that they are wrong while agreeing...
Hey in adofai ( a dance of fire and ice ) theres more levels to play if you go up at the begining
really? i thought there was only 12 oops lol
@@Miu_32 I don't recommend playing it if you aren't ready to spend a lot of time on adofai since the "crown levels" (the last 3 levels) are actually a pain to beat.
great video miu
thanks
good stuff g
I'm curious what makes quaver good enough to the point people disown maina because of it, as someone who doesn't play either they seem basically identical to me
great video tho
I think its something to do with the way that leaderboards and acc work in both games, in mania leaderboards are all based on points but there is no point multiplying modifiers in mania so the leaderboard for any song that has been out long enough will just end up being a bunch of tied pfcs and there's no way to get a new top 1 as long as that is the case while in quaver the score is multiplied by the rate you put on (aka speed modifier) so the skill comes in the ability to read speed charting when it comes to leaderboard scores and because of that there's almost always room to make a new top 1 score for any map over 28 dif. It also has to do with the fact that the charting that the osu mania community has developed over the years is considered kind of INSANELY garbage in the vsrg community because of its overuse of long notes where they dont make sense in order to make a chart more PP farmable
@@POzzzzzz almost no map above 3-4 stars in mania is full of perfect plays unlike something like std. you can always push your acc higher on mania to get the #1 in every map that doesnt have a 1m score
@@nadavvvv does not change my point but ok lol?
@@nadavvvv also the new 8 star 4k chart that just got ranked recently already has a 99.93 play on it so yes there IS room to improve but who the hell is actually that good.
great to see someone play quaver first in this type of vid
I
yeah it was pretty fun! :D
@@Miu_32 great vid btw
ACHTUALLY you did not get all achievements on muse dash because there is a secret achievement requiring you to get a 100% on a lvl 10.
and if you did get that theres a secret achievement to buy the just as planned dlc pack
oh interesting, i didnt know that lol
if u r planning to do another video about other rhythm games then here is some interesting games:
just shapes and beats, geometry dash (technically), rhythm doctor
thanks for the recommendations!
Yo good ass video
I started with fnf and went to osu mania and became better really quickly. After that I decided to try out project sekai and I started on expert to master songs easily just from the experience.
oh nice! ive never played fnf but i think it got a lot of ppl into mania/vsrgs in general
osu do help wit otha riddim gam
fire vid
good vid
muse dash's ranking works by accuracy lol, you get an S rank if you get over 90% but if you get over 95% you get a silver S rank
ohh i see!
if osu isnt a rythm game then geometry dash is fucking mario :D
LOL
Quality content and not even at 1k
Just gained a sub
thank you!
nice video :D but please fix ur mic
thanks! sorry my mic is pretty bad lol im not sure what i can do about it but thanks for the feedback :D
no but it does give you arthritis
uh oh...
3:58 wtf is this underboob screen
idk lol ask the devs
No not at all. I was once a top 3k player, I am literal garbage at any other rhythm game.
Yeah
