This is a beautiful video, as always. I have only one niggle: To me, it would intuitive sense to swap out blue and green for the gradient indicators at around 1:44. The progression blue-green-yellow makes much more sense, no?
Thanks for your feedback, really interesting! I opted for that colour system to more closely match the ski run colour gradings with green being easiest, blue harder, then red and black. Hopefully it’s still clear on the graphics when it get hard, that’s the goal 🤞🏼
@@TheColCollectiveTruetrue, I think I just like the grading best that goes from light blue to green to yellow, orange, red, and dark maroon. So what wahoo and veloviewer also use. :)

This was before funky gravel gears though so a 30/33..... hmmm might have to go again.

Another fantastic video Mike. Brought back great memories from a few years back when I did this ride for my 50th birthday 😂. Good choice using a gravel bike, that road is very questionable in places.
For the setup I went for my gravel bike so I had a wider 40mm tyre on, giving a much more comfortable ride over the poor road surface. Also less chance of puncturing.
