I love my Envy's with the wahl fade blade. I've had numerous people switch over after I did my vid on hacking the envy's. I don't know why I didn't switch sooner. Knowing you, Eddie, I'm shocked that you didn't try this sooner.

MMA BARBER LIFE what screws did u use? I have the corded envy’s and the screws that cane with the wahl blade were too fat so i tried using the envy screw but I think they are too short because when I go to open the lever it can because it’s too tight.
Friend, good evening! I changed the original blade for the Senior fade, but I didn't like it, it seems that the rpm decreased. Did you also notice it?

Yoooooooo I put the same wedge blade on my envy li!! AND BROOOOOOOOOOO THEY ARE LIKE SOME SUPED UP CORDLESS MASTERS!!! The THROW EXTENDS TO Damn near a 1 pretty much! And to be honest the cut 10x better than my cordless senior I haven’t picked them up since!
How you did I try to put my legend blade in the us pro li and I can't do that how you did
which one you its better for fade? legend blade or the seniors cordless blade? i want to try the stagger tooth on my seniors too

for me, its like fading to nr 4,5-6 mm so depends. like 3-5 cm

I wonder if the Wahl blade slide would fit on the Envy as well.
A Wahl legend blade slide with the extended range, along with the longer run time of the Li would be a scary good clipper.
Have you tried using the blade from the regular pro alloy? When you do it makes it feel like a cordless master.
The blade from the original pro alloy is so similar to the master blade that to me is fades just like the masters. So switched the blades from the pro alloy to the cordless envy and I loved it.
Sean Johnson I have tried using the Alloy blade on the Envy and honestly I didn’t like it. I feel the blade is too “heavy” for the motor and it doesn’t cut as smoothly

Love my oster topaz/fastfeeds guessing the wedge blade is somewhat similar to the long stationary blade on the osters just one of many reasons i love cutting and fading with my oster definitely have to try this didn't even know whal carried it thanks!
So can u also put a ceramic cutting blade on the envy's??!!
The thing with the ceramic is that you have to make sure you never drop it cuz ceramic is more prone to chip then the stainless-steel but At least it stays cooler longer & the blade cutting last longer than the stainless just don't drop it :-)
Bro can you do a video on andis envy corded.? I tried it but it seems the whal cutting blade is banging on the clipper slider in the corded envy.

Yo eddie! Im currently using the andis envy corded clippers. The guards suck. Am actually gonna try and make them single magnetic myself tonight. I was curious if you could make a video doing a skin fade with some clippers preferably andis using the guards without a half or one and a half guard. All I got on these are clipper comb, 1,2,3 and so on. Thanks big dawg!
I did see that video and actually tried modifying the stock envy guards to be single magnetic. Magnets didnt stick, gonna try again tonight. Otherwise I might just buy the andis nano 1's I guess theyre like the only guards that actually fit them

You can't switch the lever bracket so the Wahl screws can fit

I own these clippers and thinking on swapping the blades out but I don't own any wahls guards or magnet guards I just have the andis black guard pack and a few andis metal clip guards ..Would any of my andis guards work on this swap
Danny Vasquez no it won’t work if you swap out the blades you have to either use some wahl guards or some universal guards (speed-o guards) your andis guards wouldn’t fit on them anymore unless you have the guards to go to them don’t swap the blades out

I have been having problems since I changed my blade, I wish I could say that your video helped but most of it was blurry, at least the important parts. I still have no idea if I have installed my blade correctly or not. I'm not trying to bash you, I just need help and this wasn't it although your other videos seem well done. Please reconsider a makeover video for dummies, just pretend we have no idea how to change the blade, well at least one of us...me.
@@TH-camBarberAcademy Thank you for the reply! Yes, that may have been it, as there was more of the cover blade sticking out on one side, almost double the amount! The screw holes are very large which left room to place the plate either too far right or too far left. I've put the two blades parallel now with exactly the same amount of space on either side and the loud noise has stopped as has the vibrations. Thanks again for your help I very much appreciate it!

The blade seems to get hot fast
Try ceramic it stays cooler longer just make sure you don't drop it cuz ceramic chips easy if you drop it by accident

TH-cam Barber Academy And I can’t zero gap it. The teeth are too long for any cutting blade I have for it. I have taper 2000 with a new wedge blade.
TH-cam Barber Academy and speaking of cutting blades, my masters cutting blade swings very slightly or “kicks” downward or at an angle when it’s on. Is that normal for masters?? bc I have not really noticed that with my wahl clipper.
You are right. My bad. I meant to say I can’t zero gap it. Also I was wondering, can an Andis “Pro Alloy Fade blade” fit on a Wahl cordless Designer and be zero gapped hopefully with any ceramic cutting blade that’ll fit?

Totally wrong! Not the best set up! The original Andis Pro Alloy taper blade with Wahl screws is the best way to go.
