Heyyy Tesha….The trick to finding your perfect match with Fenty complexion products I’ll share below. I just brought this skin tint yesterday. I also got #7. A Sephora MUA asked if He could apply it & I’m so glad I did. I have normal skin. So I love me a dewy/radiant/luminous finish. I totally agree with a lot of other people that state they don’t have a true shade in Fenty foundations. I shared that with the guy that asked me to try the Fenty skin tint. Tell me why he matched me the first try with the soft ‘lit foundation. Turns out I have had a Shade in Fenty all this time it’s been 445 but I was trying shades that stated a neutral undertone. I brought that to lol 😝 He said. Fenty does not have their undertones listed like we are use to. Meaning, if I am a neutral, I would have never looked at the undertone that states Warm Olive in 445. It was my perfect 👍🏾 match. He wiped off the skin tint and applied the soft’lit foundation he walked me outside. And it was the absolute perfect match. He did dat. I had to buy both. 💃🏾 I was lucky that he put a lot of effort into helping me find my shade & He said this applies across other brands to if those brands are known to be hard to find a true match. But they have a ton of shades and u still do not have a match that’s when u look at other undertones within that brand 💃🏾✔️ When I Left there My face was beat to the goddess…..I got compliments & was asked what I was wearing or they thought it was my skin just looking healthy. I hope this helps some sista’s out….💃🏾👍🏾✔️🙏🏾
Hey Anitra💕 so glad to hear you were able to find a good match in both products. I actually considered trying 445 too but decided to keep the shade I have since it worked once I used all my other products with it. Between Soft Lit and the tinted moisturizer which one do you think you’ll be wearing more of?
Thank you for this detailed color match tutorial! I’m always happy when there’s a great beauty advisor or makeup artist that’s able to go all out to help out! I realized I got the hydro vizor a little too dark, but making it work. I’m 385 in soft lit and I got the no. 7 hydro vizer… currently giving it a full wear test to see how it performs as a complexion product.
Wow thanks for the tip! I also have 445 and it's too dark for me.. ijs.. I have the whole set.. if you want to buy it from me.. be my guest! I even have the hydrating foundation which is hard to find.. sadly I have brought all the wrong shades from 445 down to 420 I believe.. but I believe in the tint shade 20 is my shade.. no1 ever said I look orange or green with that one lol.. I want to try this one posted.. since I don't need full coverage.. so I'm going to listen to you and try the trick out! Thanks again!
I bought this and im obsessed for everyday use. For errands and just light makeup days this is beautiful on the skin. Ive been using this and a cream blush and omg my skin looks dewy and light!
You have to give us an update on the wear of the skin tint after a few hours... I'm oily/combo so I'm weary of luminous/dewy labeled products... But she is beautiful on your skin!!!
I actually ended up keeping it on for a few hours after this and it didn’t get super oily. My skin got a little glowy but nothing crazy. Keep in mind I did set with powder💕
Hey Hun, this is perfect, the match is on point. Your skin looks amazing with and without the foundation. Girl mine just came to my door. Gonna film my review today. Great review and very detailed ❤❤
I looked at several reviews, but I like yours the best and how well you explain the product, even down to using your fingers vs using a brush. Also what kind of cleanser and moisturizer would you recommend prior to using the tent, and what type of brush do you recommend. Thank you and you look amazing✝️♥️✝️
Thanks so much💕! The cleaner and moisturizer you use honestly just depends on your skin type. I always use the Peach & Lily Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser. Right now I’m using the Inkey List Bioactive Ceramide moisturizer. I’ve been loving the Real Techniques Seamless Complexion makeup brush for foundation. It’s affordable and blends beautifully.
Hey love, have you gotten to use it more? Do you like it even more now? I still think this is such a great match for your skin as compared to the softlet foundation because that one seemed orange on you. And are we going to still see the ranking video? Cuz I'd love to hear your thoughts on that
looks gorgeous on you!! i reviewed it on my channel too haha. from an esthetic perspective (i'm an esthetician :)) the ingredients are pretty good! the finish is dewy like you said i just wished it had a littleeeeee bit more coverage so i could wear it on it's own but can't have it all lmao
I’m kind of confused on the marketing of this product, because it’s like yes it’s a tinted sunscreen so I’m looking at it as more of a skin care product but it’s like it’s also marketed as a light coverage foundation. Color match looked great like spot on but i think I’ll pass.
It’s basically a hybrid product. A tinted moisturizer with the added benefits of sunscreen and skincare. I like it because I can skip a few steps in my routine being that this is an all in one
I will be honest. Just bought this. And it's okay. But it's confusing because it's marketed as a moisturizer. And I just can't wear it like one. It has a greasy feel. So I had to set with powder. And it's only spf 30 which is not enough for me. If u are not sure whether to buy or not, I think you can pass. I might return mines
Ok..I’m new to wearing makeup, so just curious as to why you never do? Maybe this is something that can help me in the process. For now I’ve just been wearing concealer and tinted moisturizer
@@loyalm2327 I wear makeup daily and apply my foundation/tinted moisturizer on my under eye area. I think it’s more of a personal thing. When it comes to products like this from Fenty I would for sure apply it on my under eyes because it’s a hybrid product with SPF, tint and skincare ingredients.
@@loyalm2327 I just don’t find it necessary. Concealer alone gives me the coverage I want in that area. Also because the skin under your eyes is thin I don’t like to cake up a lot of product there
Looks great but if that little bit was too much then it can’t be used as a true sunscreen. It’s basically a foundation/tinted moisturizer with spf. We’ll still have to wear spf under it if we want full protection. 😢
I’m definitely not using the recommended three finger lengths of sunscreen for this product lol. But the way I see it, some protection is better than none at all🤷🏾♀️
Came on to write something similar - if it’s supposed to mainly be spf, seems like the side where you applied more is better but helpful to know that the recommended 3 finger length is too much for this product. I might need to watch one of their videos to learn more. I searched the soft lit foundation yesterday and it has a pretty finish as well.
I think this looks amazing on you. I do think it's a better shade than the soft filter. I got mine on Friday and it is the best matching color from Fenty I've ever had. Also that's not true about mineral sunscreen it does absorb too that's why you are supposed to reapply especially if you're out during the day. Chemical and mineral sunscreens aren't as different now as they used to be. And this as a full sunscreen is CAKEY it's def more foundation/tinted moisturizer than sunscreen. So I will use my regular sunscreen and then this as a tinted moisturizer. This looked absolutely gorgeous on you.
Good to know! I thought about that reapplying part as well because I definitely would not reapply this every couple of hours as recommended. I’m curious to see how it would look if someone were to do that
@@iAmTeshaMarie someone used it as a sunscreen and the cake was real!!!!! And it like never dried down at all. I used it yesterday and I have dry/normal skin and I didn't powder and I could feel it coming off
There’s a bit of misinformation here. Mineral filters do not absorb into the skin the way chemical filters do. Mineral filters sit on top of the skin and deflect rays. That has not changed over time and that will not change. The reason you need to reapply is because it loses efficiency in protection due to sweat, sebum, water, environmental factors, etc. that’s why reapplying is recommended every 2 hours less if swimming

Not exactly sure because I’ve never tried hourglass. But I glanced at the details on Sephora and I would say no only because Hourglass is marketing theirs as a skin tint foundation. The Fenty is a tinted moisturizer, not foundation. Hope that helps.
Rihanna created all of her sunscreen products & this skin tint specifically addressing the cast issue as a WOC - she gets it 👌🏾 😍

I ordered it and the powder foundation, I hope they go together well
Ooooh I bet you could use the powder foundation to set it and maybe even add a bit more coverage
My tinted moisturizer pills for some reason. Maybe it just doesn’t work with my skin, I love the powder on its own though.

Understandable. It’s certainly not going to be everyone’s cup of tea
If you’re testing a tinted moisturizer, why would you moisturize and prime first.
I always layer my skincare. I like my skin to be pretty hydrated
Beautiful! Is it transfer resistant/proof?
It’s not transfer proof

I used the Cali Ray So Blown primer. Linking it below for you💕:

Which is annoying because we not even supposed to layer different sunscreens because it messes up the protective film.
A dermatologist on IG just shared that she layers her sunscreens. She uses a chemical one and then a tinted mineral one on top.
The holder is useless but the product is good just to expensive for me I don’t usually wear makeup so I got this
❤❤❤❤
How much coverage do you think the tinted moisturizer can build up to? Medium?
I don’t think it builds up to medium but not completely sure because I haven’t tried to. Seems like it would take a lot to make it medium coverage
