One of the main things I love about the likes of Nemophila, Band-Maid, Lovebites, Asterism, Babymetal, Atarashii Gakko and others on the Japanese female Metal and Rock scene is that it's nearly always a happy experience; they smile and laugh while banging out superb and often complex music and we get to smile and headbang! Nemophila recently released REVIVE live and it's excellent (as is the MV!).
This is the first time I've heard this old version of "Night Flight" in a while. After hearing the new MV version many times now it's remarkable how Mayu's English pronunciation has improved.
As i have been saying for close to a decade now, always glad to see Tamu-san. So happy she is part of such a great band. Glad to be around for this NWOJHM.
Enjoyed the reaction. Ibanez nerd here. In "Rise", Hazuki's playing a J.Custom RG8527. She has a collection of j.customs in both 6 and 7 string models. She's playing an RGD from the Prestige line in the live videos. She has an endorsement deal with Ibanez. I say she deserves her own signature model.
Night Flight and Rise are easily two of my favorite Nemophila songs. I don't like growling-screaming, but love Mayu's proper singing voice and their talent is next level. Night Flight is such a weird departure for them but I really love it. Rise's chorus is that perfect anime metal chorus that I have a rule not to listen to it while driving because I will get arrested for speeding.😆 Now I Here is my favorite of theirs. It's a metal ballad and it's one of the most beautiful songs of the last decade. Definitely worth checking out.
Dude, loving your reactions, you seem to genuinely love Nemophila, Bandmaid and the mighty BABYMETAL 🦊, just a heads up, you were expressing a desire to watch Nemophila live in concert, well they literally performed at the Tokyo garden theatre a few hours ago, and it is available to stream in archive form on the Zaiko streaming platform for around $25, I'm about to watch it right now, cheers😎
For as awesome as Rise is, the most impressive thing in the video is that guy managing to paint that picture in only 3 1/2 minutes. Even while rocking out too!😋

They never miss and you have only scratched the surface with Nemophila .now with 2 full albums out and not a duff song on them .4 year anniversary concert to day 17th online live tickets from zaiko biggest concert to date once you have the ticket you can watch as many times as you like over about 10 days so if you can not make the time for it live you have days to watch it .
DO NOT watch the official video of Night Flight!!! I saw them live in LA in March. It was a blast. Mayu is a great front woman, but I honestly couldn't keep my eyes off of Haraguci-san (yes, I have a total crush on her).
I saw them live in NYC, second row in front of..... Haraguchi-sun and she had my complete attention, except when Hazuki steped right if front for her solo's then it was Hazuki. Ya, I have a crush on Haraguchi-sun too.
Well the first two songs Night flight and Blooming I would say are my two least favorite Nemophila songs and they are still great! Also RISE is a bad ass song.

I did the Nightflight dance in Nagoya. It’s a must do at their concert. RISE was particularly brutal live as well. One of their best songs IMO.🤘🇯🇵🤘
