Tank builds such as this one destroy the DLC bosses. Shield poke is even more powerful, it's by far the most broken build in the game. Even mages have a slight challenge in the DLC. Tank builds are just cruising.
Every boss I've struggled with in the dlc I just switch to heavy armor, shield + bonk weapon and I win. Bloodfiend arm ftw That said my normal int/dex build is having fun on most bosses/regular enemies.
Pretty sure 100% resist build is possible in the dlc. Havent gotten far enough to test it myself but im already at like 80% physical negation with only 11 blessings and not even using every possible method of damage negation
I'm pretty sure 100% resist is mathematically impossible due to the way resistances work in this game. Resistances are always multiplicative, meaning if you have 90% resistance and then you add a buff that gives you another 10%, you'll have 91% resistance, because the 1% is 10% of the damage you would have taken before the buff. Which would mean that you could climb into infinite decimals of 99.999 and so on but never reach 100
@@theeliteterrarian1888 yes physical sorry. although to get that much fire protection its has to be raining and you have to be stood in a puddle and wearing extremely specific armor, talismans and weapons as well as doing too way many buffs in a specific order. Normal people dont have the patience to regularly do that and get it right.
Its cool, but only works at Lower levels (hes like 3 tiers above this tiers boss.) which is a lot. Don't try this build unless you know what you're doing.
@@ixinor with buffs you can definitely tank even Malenia only boss it wouldn’t work against is Maliketh phase 2 because of his percent based damage and the DLC bosses because they are overtuned as fuck
I dont think he had a problem with Melania. He is using endure, iron something perfume, bull goat armor and talismans. You can watch the live versions to see how he setup
