Diminuendo vs crescendo is an amazing way to think about this! For me, crescendo is an excuse and I put off the "scary" task indefinitely. But I get a lot done if I do the big thing first. Also, I love scriviner but when I'm stuck I find scribbling on paper helps. Sometimes I make a list, sometimes I just scribble ideas, a lot of times there are arrows looping back and around. :D But when the actual words start to flow, writing is too slow, and I return to the computer. Love your videos, so glad I've found you.

It's great that you've found the right working style for you, and I'm glad you could share the perspective of a diminuendo working style :)
