Dear Thomas, your walking videos, like this charming one, are a lifeline for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks to you, I can "walk" again in my beloved Nederlandse Motherland, and other places more far flung, and escape what feels like house arrest here in Berkeley, California. I have been virtually housebound almost half a year now due to the high danger of Covid still in this area, and now the megafires ranging all around the Bay area and further. California has had a collective landmass burned that would cover almost half of Nederland and no end in sight. While we have no fire here in town, the smoke is so heavy in the air we must stay indoors with windows shut most of the time for the last week. I live alone. But thanks to you, I can feel as if I am walking ( I am a great walker in normal life), connected again to Nature and the life all around me, the sights, the sounds of birdsong, snatches of Dutch conversation that are music to my ears, the church bells, and even your footfall in some of the countryside videos sound so gezellig, so I can imagine walking with a companion and then sitting down in a sidewalk cafe for an appelsap and a spekpannekoek. Ah, heaven! You have taken me to Muiden, where my Oom Lukas used to live, and all over Amsterdam, where I lived for a while many years ago. You connect me to my past and give me hope for the future. You help me escape this grim reality and make me feel happy and calm. Please keep making these wonderful videos. You cannot know how much they can mean to some of the people like me that you touch with them.
Breda can be a very relaxing and friendly but dont forget that it is very BORING living here!!! Be happy u live in the Bay Area, a lot more stuff goes down, down there
@@oliverdembow2377 , boring...I quess that depends on how U live your life. You can make it as vivid as you want it to be yourself. Ofcourse Covid is now for everybody a reason to be more aware of eachother. When that has passed and life will get back to normal.Than activities will be organised again and U can be part of the vivid life in this town.
I have enjoyed many of your videos, which are helping me plan a trip to the Netherlands! I live in the middle of the U.S. but I have English friends who live in Breda so it's great to see their town! Now I know why they love it so much.
Breda the best city in The Netherlands. Not a Lott of tourists, plenty places to drink and eat a Lott. People who are friendly. Amazing buildings. My place of born and I m proud of it. Good vid mate 👍
