Instead of the dual USB stick, couldn't you just mount the ISO into something like Daemon Tools? couldn't you just run the ISO directly in windows and it would still create a boot stick?

Hey mate, nice tutorial. Any chance you could put up on how to make your NAS smb available as a cloud storage through Internet instead of just LAN?

Yes, I can make a video which allows you to access the NAS publicly from anywhere in the world. I will post a link once the video is created. Make sure to subscribe and hit the bell notification icon so you are notified once I upload the video. Thank you.

non of my drives are selectable, when I click enter to select the drive it selects the ok button as if I was not selecting a drive and says no drive selected and goes back to that screen

could you check if the drives are formatted properly. Also, are you able to submit an image of the error you are seeing?

I read about it to be a risky solution to install on usb stick, did you have any issue?

No I didn't have any issues installing the TrueNAS to run from the usb stick. I used USB3.0 which loads the OS faster than the old hard drives I am using.
