Combining that with the cuticle softener could have sofened your skin a little too much, making it much harder to tell dead from live skin, and much easier to take off too much. Not using the softener, maybe omitting the nippers, just sticking to the ball bit for the cuticle prep, may be gentler on your fingies 🫶 Love your videos SO MUCH! I go crazy with cuticle trimmers too. So now I try avoid using them. The round bits prevent me from having to use the cuticle trimmer. I have every size of those round bits!
