The Royal mint aren't the best to buy, not even on the proof standard. There are better mints that make quality proof coin's that are more interesting to appreciate the way they look.
I was never lucky enough to get a proof queens beast completer, but I did get a 1oz plat, 1oz gold and 1kg silver bullion grade completer. Hoping that these might be collectible one day. The platinum seem very few and far between
Say from across the pond here I notice NGC is more prevalent in Europe, or am I seeing things? Here PCGS commands slightly higher prices and CAC higher still. Just curious
The most beautiful coin I have ever seen!! 5 oz are absolutely stunning!! 🤩🤩 but lose faith in rm proof coin quality, especially for international collectors (HK & Macau), way too expensive to ship back for return faulty coin.
If I was in your position BYB, I wouldn’t sell the proof completer at any price, The enjoyment is right here right now & U can only see going in one direction, the Monarch series was very unfortunate & Ill be keeping a close eye on what you decide to do with the seals.
Another interesting video thank you. I was looking at QB Proofs earlier this week but only the silvers not gold. What is your view of these from a collection/investment point of view ?
Just started getting my coins graded, looking for them perfect coins to be graded can be so pricey with box and coa but makes it interesting, great video mate came at the right time, coins look amazing 👏
Can I ask byb if you did sell it for 6k and made say £3500 profit would all of that profit be capital gains tax free even though the gold price is a lot less?
Great stuff as usual BYB, although you're waaaaaaaaaay off the mark when it comes to the 7 Decades of 007 - they're gonna go to da moon! My advice to all your subscribers is to buy, buy, buy while you still can - especially the 2 oz silvers!!! 😎
Down £10k on 9 oz (5 coins) of pf 69's and 70's. At best, from what I can see, only two are at best, breaking even. It's squeaky bum anxiety, whether eventually someone may well be willing to purchase them and a profit can be derived from their sale. Perhaps not even in my lifetime? My son may well have to figure that out. Wish I had just stuck to stacking sovereigns. On the bright side, I have lots of beer and books.
Freaky fact: Rod Stewart's pet name for Elton John, was Mandy. Elton's musical eulogy, at the funeral of Princess Diana was in my opinion, utter cringe.
QB Completer PF70 also sold at higher in USA with Heritage $10,200 (Dec 2023) & $5760 (Aug 22)
I bought a few PS 70's last year, together with lots of other 1oz coins! I wished now i pilled in on all PS 70's! Hindsight is a wonderful thing 😂😂
I’ve sold two of them raw and not a proof. $2,850 and $2,999
I have 2 Gold Completer bullion coins in my collection. Can't sell them because I can't force myself to swap Gold for fiat.
@@Malarkey-sh9od I sold my and bought sliver at spot. It’s a great way to grow your stack.
Byb, how much will a germania mint 2024 bice dragon 8.88 oz Silver bar sell for? Its only got a mintage of 88.

Not the proof version buddy, this is proof. You can get bullion for around £3k

Sound video, thanks. Will be fun trying to guess the money makers in the years ahead

It's totally capital gains exempt
@@BackyardBullion thank you
Yes, it's classed as "face value " and legal tender, which is CGT free.
3 Proof 1oz Silver Completer Coins I was able to grab. Still have them Raw and not Graded... Probably will sell One to pay for the other two.

Nice
Music legends was just awful. Contemplated buying a secondary market Elton John and using it as a coaster.
