I taped all of these when it came out. I remember somehow knowing Mariano wasn’t about that school life when the show had him mention going to school. Skate Mastet Tate is the man. 87-2023 and I’m still rolling hard and slapping curbs on the daily.

This premiered the Night before MLK day 1990, I remember having off the next day and seeing my freind like whoa..Did you see that last night. Then we had to wait til July 4th for Ep 1 to premier.. I thought this show was great. Coming up in the 80's there was so many times you'd hear about a skate video someones older brother or something has..And then would never be around or just wouldn't show it to us. This was the first time I could turn my own TV on and see new footage and tape it..

That Natas interview was perfect. He was just straight up honest. I bet they weren't expecting those views for their show. Perhaps it was the idiot interviewing him. They should've let Skatemaster Tate conduct the interview. I still love how well Firehose is synced up with his skating in that part. We watched Streets on Fire so many times. That and the H-Street videos would get us so hyped to go skate. Those were the days!

Damn, Jesse Roach! I read somewhere online years ago that after skating, he was getting into a lot of trouble with the law, in and out of jail. And apparently hates skateboarding.
The comment about Japanese street skaters being behind sure sounds funny now. They dominate the scene now.
When I was 16 me and my friend stole a parking block from a grocery store parking lot and put it in his basement to skate during the winter and when it rained. His parents were really pissed about it😂

Wow! I smoked a J with Tater in ‘87 @UCSD after he had a gig. This is 1990 in beautiful Sun Valley (Pink Motel), where I grew up! Haha.

Absolutely forgot Natas was the first featured pro on Sk8 t.v. still not cool about Clarissa Explanes it All just showed up and stole the time slot spring 91' the network didn't even announce that it was canceled... it was just over like it didn't even exist.
