Being American, I've never heard of the two comics mentioned here, but I surely loved Ronnie Corbett. Actually loved both Ronnies. Ronnie Corbett had amazing timing &he could go on and "digress" many times in a monologue. They are so missed. I am so glad we had Miranda for a few seasons & Tracy Ulman. British humor is irresistible.
I was lucky enough to have met Morecombe and Wise in 1979 when I was a kid, after they bumped into me and muttered something under their breaths to do a signing.
I started to tear up. To see Miranda's excitement and how she was so thrilled to experience being on that stage. Awesome reaction. I use to watch Morcambe and Wise. And This Brought back some memories. And I love Miranda and her humour. Silly fun stuff just like the classic comedians back in the day.
