Honestly, I've been painting smaller projects lately, like clocks, mirrors, lamps, and candlesticks, and find myself spending so much time detailing them. Hardly worth the effort if I want to resell them since the time spent is so excessive, far outweighing what I could charge for them. I love how your little jewelry box turned out, but that too took you a lot of time. Good that you will enjoy it yourself, which is also what I'm finding myself doing with my smaller pieces.
I love how this turned out! I have a similar jewelery box that needs a facelift and this gives me so many ideas. Mine doesn't have feet so I may try to find something to use for those. I'm thinking maybe either some drawer knobs or wooden beads??
Oh, how cute & elegant! I'm working on a jewelry box too, I love these because they are great to practice different techniques on! I love all the little details on yours. 🙂 Did you paint the back?
When I work on jewelry boxes I finish everything. Backs, bottoms, drawers sides, just about every surface gets made over. And you’re right- they are great for practice and trying out new color combos.
So pretty!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love your videos, BJ! "Perfectly imperfect" is one of my favorite phrases! In life and in painting! :)
Super cute! I love how the green came out on the inside. So Pretty. Thanks for sharing BJ.
Thanks for watching!
Great idea to paint the fabric lining. 💗
It’s way easier than tearing it all out that’s for sure.
I haven't shopped amazon for metal feet. I'm headed that way now!! I love the finished product!!
There are A LOT on there!
Love it!
😊 thank you

Yes! I don’t think people realize that painting small stuff sometimes takes longer than painting big stuff. Thanks for your nice words.

Either of those should work! Would love to see your project when you’re done.

Love the video, but the volume of the video was unpleasantly loud
