$750 for a base?
NO, it’s $750 for my TIME and experience when you take out what I’ll have to pay the government, Etsy and my expenses for my workshop rent and power, I’m making less than minimum wage, hence why I show you how to make one yourself.
So glad to hear they have switched to a softer seamless material - hoping that translates to better longevity. Also...jealous of that Premium Format!
This shoulder material feels much more durable and flexible, and the PF is awesome

Thank you for teaching me about relief holes! I've seen them on the palm surface of some seamless poseable hands and never knew what their purpose was.
You’re welcome, I think it has to do with not allowing a vacuum to get created inside the continuous silicone/vinyl part and/or it allows continuous “off gassing” like the chemical mix needs to breathe, like how when you put older comics into a closed case they need archival paper to absorb the gasses that naturally let off over time so it doesn’t ruin the book
Seamless figures are aesthetically pleasing, but it renders their articulation moot; beyond maybe a photo session. It's like Hot Toys' '89 Batman, only a crazy person would leave him with bent limbs in their display 😅 Anyway, I too agree Sideshow nailed their interpretation of this particular Ahsoka with their 1/4 scale statue.
